Pro-level Digital Piano for Rehearsal and Live Performances

Whether you’re a fledgling performer or a seasoned veteran, the Alesis Prestige Artist 88-key Digital Piano is a fantastic tool for both the practice room and the concert stage. Beginners and anyone looking to brush up on their playing chops are sure to benefit from the Prestige Artist’s powerful learning features, with a Lesson Mode giving teachers and students simultaneous access to the keys and a Recording Mode for tracking and listening back to the nuances of your playing. After you’ve honed your skills, the Prestige Artist’s 30 voices and 256-voice polyphony make great companions on the concert stage, made even better by Layer and Split Modes to combine and separate voices, respectively. A phenomenal arpeggiator adds hefty flavor to your own arrangements with all of your settings clearly on display via the OLED screen. Sweetwater keyboardists love that the Prestige Artist also comes with a sustain pedal and a handy music rest, two required accessories for pianists of all skill levels.

Powerful tools to take you from beginner to master pianist

The Prestige Artist boasts plenty of onboard features to take your playing from “Chopsticks” to Chopin in the blink of an eye. With Lesson Mode engaged, the Prestige Artist splits all 88 of its keys into two identical zones, making it easy for students and teachers to watch each other and play together without needing to take turns at the helm. Once you’ve mastered your lessons and pieces, Record Mode comes into play, recording your performance and playing it back through the Prestige Artist’s onboard speakers with crystal-clear detail. Perhaps best of all is the Prestige Artist’s metronome, an invaluable tool when learning the ropes of your instrument and nailing critical aspects like rhythm and timing.

Everything needed for stellar live performances

Once you’re ready to hit the stage, the Prestige Artist has you covered with everything needed to dazzle and delight audiences. There are 30 unique voices that cover a wide array of keyboard instruments for many different play styles, with Layer Mode to combine any two voices in unison and Split Mode to play them separately. There’s even a high-quality reverb onboard the Prestige Artist, with five different types to find the perfect amount of wash for your playing. And thanks to its 256-voice polyphony, you’ll never run out of notes for even the most technically demanding of piano pieces.

Couldn't be happier!

We are starting our with piano, but this one is so easy to use! The kids love recording themselves and the piano teacher loves that it feels and sounds the same as a grand piano!

On a different note, the customer service has been top notch!!! What a breath of fresh air knowing any questions or concerns will be answered quickly! We will be purchasing from Sweetwater again!

High-end quality at a low price!

Music is just a hobby for me, but when I pursue any venture I like to make the investment for only ONE time. I did quite a bit of research prior to making this great purchase. There are plenty of keyboards between the $ dollar range, but for my level of playing I just wanted something that would not leave me feeling that I should have spent just a bit more.

For literally $, I went with the Alesis Prestige ARTIST keyboard. It had 12 more voices and double the polyphony capabilities that the basic Alesis Prestige. I may not understand what effect the higher polyphonic number means, but the keyboard sounds AWESOME! The sustain pedal that is included is a very nice addition.

The keys feel exactly like the console piano that we have in our living room. The advantage of having this digital keyboard is important in two areas. First, it is light-weight and portable. Secondly, it is not susceptible to temperature and moisture content in the area where it is stored. The regular piano requires a constant environment, but this digital gem needs only to have a good quality dust cover.

For anyone starting out, or even just wanting an excellent sounding instrument for gigs, this is a bargain.

Awesome Keyboard - Just what I needed

I'm very pleased with this keyboard. It has the features I needed, 88 great-feeling and responsive keys, excellent sounds, speakers, USB connectivity to my laptop. It was simple to set up, doesn't take up much room on my desktop and I like the stand that has the capacity to hold my piano books. I am very happy with this purchase.

Excellent practice piano

I attempted to write a review on this instrument a couple of weeks ago , but lost internet connection.
Sweet Water delivered it in good condition and timely, in fact it came sooner than I expected, Thanks Alan Carter.
This instrument has only 30 sounds, but they are mostly good. There are four pianos. my favorite is the bright piano.
The electric pianos sound good and give you a nice variety. The one string sound, symphonic strings, sounds quite good. They're not Marcato strings like on Roland or Yamaha, but they sound nice with the pianos. The harpsichords are nice.
The organs are laughable. Though I would not try to use this instrument as a master controller over other instruments in performances, it's a very nice practice piano.
The keyboard action feels good. You do get a nice string resonance with the pianos.
This instrument is ideal for a student to practice on, I wish I had had it when I was in college majoring in music 44 years ago. The speaker system is nice, just the right volume for at home to practice with, but not loud enough for performances, and it's light enough to handle without causing backaches.
I recommend this instrument for any piano student to have for home practice.

Disappointed with piano sound samples ....

On paper, this keyboard has a lot going for it at this price point. 256 notes of polyphony, full-size graded hammer action keys, adjustable touch sensitivity, 25 watts per channel speakers, a full size sustain pedal, and 2 headphone jacks. Before this, I had Casio PX-350 and PX-160 keyboard for a long time. I always found Casio key action to be too light and in that regard, this keyboard is a modest improvement. However, generally the key action from big name makers are better - Kawai, Yamaha, and Roland. But for the price, the key action is not bad. The build quality and overall features are pretty decent for the price. For me, two most important factors in any keyboard is sound sample and key action. When I first played this briefly in the store, I thought the sound was OK at first but more and more I play it, I feel like the main piano sound sample is subpar compared to keyboards from other manufacturers. In the end, I regret getting this keyboard. If sound is important to you, I say spend a little extra and get any of the keyboards from the likes of Roland, Yamaha or Kawai.
