After trying numerous cases and keyboard for the iPad Pro I firmly believe that this is the best one on the market right now. For the price - it has the best combination of protection, form, design, and function of all the iPad Keyboard Cases. Below i will detail how it accels in each of those areas:
- Protection: This case provides full 360 degree edge to edge protection. If you pair it with a glass screen protector you will find that your ipad is very well protected from dents, dings, and accidents that happen with daily use. The case has a nice front facing lip going around it and it covers all of the edges to protect the frame from being dented or marked up. The material is firm, durable, and helps cushion/protect the device. I was very pleased in this regard.
- Form: This case has a great form factor - not only is it an edge to edge case - but it also includes a lighted detachable keyboard meaning you can use the combination as a full on laptop replacement, or remove the keyboard and have a protected tablet case. The case also has a pop out kickstand in the back making it nice for media consumption as well. The keyboard is lighted so you can make out all of the keys in the dark and best of all it includes a full row of media shortcut keys. Something the oem keyboard case doesnt even have.
- Design: The design of the case is very stylish. It uses high quality materials that have a modern styling and design. The case is a matte gray that blends/matches nicely to the space grey color of the iPad. The outer material is a durable canvas like material that doesn't show marks, wear, or dirt and see to be very durable as well as stylish.
- Function: The case is smartly design allowing the keyboard to be removed so that it can be used as a laptop replacement or as a pure media tablet. When attached the keyboard can be closed fully protecting the front and back of the tablet. The keyboard is smartly designed with a white backlight and a full row of function/media shortcut keys.

Going strong after almost 2 years
I purchased this keyboard/case combo almost 2 years ago, and it has been wonderful. The keyboard has held up nicely and still looks and functions like new. The backlight and shortcut keys to control it are amazing for typing at night, and the adjustable kickstand has been opened and closed hundreds of times, and shows no signs of wear. I love how easy it is to detach the keyboard so I can put it away if I won't need to do any typing. It's just nice to have the keyboard sitting around as an option to snap it on and do some serious writing.It has protected my tablet from all sorts of situations, and for the most part looks great. I did remove a star from the rating because I am also experiencing warping and peeling on the outer edge of the case at the location of each of the 4 speakers, as I noticed other users have reported. The warping issues began a few months into my ownership of the product, and after almost 2 years the warping has almost created a loop at each corner of the tablet. Useful if you wish to hang it from a hook on the wall I guess...Considering the number of others that are experiencing this issue, this is a design flaw that will likely occur to your case if you purchase this item. If you don't mind this slight visual flaw, then it is otherwise a great product and will likely last for the life of your iPad.

I tried to also capture the backlit keyboard which I think is a big plus. It's better to type on than Apple's or Microsoft's efforts at same. Granted, it's not a best in class laptop keyboard but it doesn't have to be. It[s comfy for long sessions. The track pad is similarly very fine but not the best.
All told, I am delighted with this case. It allows me to leave the laptop at home when I travel. Two trade offs in its design:
1. It adds significant weight to the iPad. That said, it's still highly portable and easy to use. A MacBook Air weighs less and has a 13 inch screen.
2. The kickstand feature requires some support so the display stays upright, unlike a laptop but in the same vein as a Surface for those who are familiar with it.

The case is precisely engineered. The edges are smooth and straight. The cutouts for speakers and usb are right on. The case snaps around the pad with no gaps. Hope the photos show this. In my opinion it looks as good as any laptop. The slightly pebbled texture is great for looks, grip and a cool feel. Yet it doesn't hold crumbs and is very spill resistant. Edit: I got the new one and it fits perfectly! The edges align and there are no gaps in the corners like when I first got it. There is a difference between the holes for the speakers in the first model and in this one so I don't think they will wear out as easily because they are sturdier with the smaller holes. Logitech customer service is fantastic for sending me this replacement. I don't know yet if I will have to pay for postage to send the old one back.
Edit#2: They haven't yet asked me to send the old one back, and they closed the ticket, however they told me they could ask me to send the old one at any point in the future. This is my last update. Thanks Amazon and Logitech!

I've had this case since April of '22 and it is now December of '22. The case is nice although I noticed when I bought it that it did not align properly despite me purchasing the correct model for my ipad. In using it the past 8 months, the edges have really worn down and the sides near the speakers are almost falling off and the ipad pops out at times. I don't know what I could've done to make it this worn out!! However, I contacted the manufacturer and they are sending me a new one!! Even though it is past the warranty date (I think?) I love Logitech! Hopefully the one I bought is just faulty and the new one fits better. The keyboard still works and I love the feel of the keys. I also like that there is a function row!
