Clifton Forge Series Box Set: Books 1-3

Tin Gypsy This author took what should be a simple romance and shook it up, tumbled it out into a jumble of emotions that had me wavering between every feeling I’ve ever experienced, and then pulled it all back into a perfect place of peace and joy and pure ecstasy. This couple’s banter was fun and their battles delicious because I knew that behind it all was a chemistry that was sure to light the pages on fire once they let loose. And holy heck did it!!! They don’t have an easy road to travel and there were times that this story was intense, and heavy and I couldn’t stop reading even as I felt the need to just take a breath because it was breaking my heart. This author never does things the way you expect, and such is the case with Bryce and Dash. Riven Knight Wow! This book absolutely blew me away. From the beginning this has a weightier feel to it. There is a lot going on in both Genevieve’s and Isaiah’s lives and while they’re dealing with all the drama around them as well as their circle of friends, they struggle with their own inner demons as well as their burgeoning emotions towards one another. The romance between Genevieve and Isaiah was absolutely perfect. There is no insta, over the top reactions between them and their relationship develops in a manner that is completely believable. This has a wonderful pace to it and the evolving plotline kept me engaged the entire time. Secondary characters added a deeper dimension to the story as well as helping to push the story along and I’m so antsy to get my hands on their stories. Genevieve and Isaiah will definitely be going on my favorite hero/heroine list! Stone Princess Presley and Shaw’s relationship ran the gauntlet of emotions that kept me turning pages as fast as possible. They set fire to my Kindle and the chemistry between them was felt from their first meeting. Along with the steam, this had some drama trickled throughout as well as a bit of relationship angst that kept my heart hurting, yearning, cursing and cheering. If you love a hero that does the chasing, with a possessive mentality, this is definitely the book for you! Noble Prince This story surprised me with a bit of a twist when this plot demanded the hero make a decision that called his moral fiber into question. Watching it play out was one of the most angsty, heart wrenching moments I’ve read in a while. The fact I didn’t know which direction this was going to go kept me on the edge of my seat and had me destroying my manicure. Overall, this was, dare I say it, my favorite of the series. And yes, I know, each new one ends up being my new favorite, but I can’t help that these characters claim my heart each and every time. Fallen Jester This book entailed some relationship angst that had my heart twisting for this couple. Cassandra and Leo’s story was like an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every minute of it. With danger and drama interspersed as well throughout the book, I felt like I was on the edge of a precipice, waiting for it all to collapse in a moment of horror. I love when a story can shake me up and keep me guessing as to what’s going to happen. Tin Queen Anxiously waiting!

I love everything about the Tin Gypsy Series! This series is a bit darker and more suspenseful than Devney’s previous stories, but I can’t get enough. Throughout the series, there’s a mystery to be solved. But each book in the series has its own story/plot and keeps you glued to the pages. Highly recommend the series! No better way to start it than with this boxset!
