Powell Flutes began as a true labor of love. In 1910, jeweler Verne Q. Powell fashioned himself a silver flute with silver sourced from silver dollars, watch casings, and spoons. In 1926, he founded his own company and quickly earned a reputation for building the finest-quality French flutes.
