Twin-Tipped
Promarkers have two inbuilt nibs, fine and broad. The fine bullet nib is narrower, making it ideal for more precise detailing and line work. The broad nib is great for quick visuals and filling in larger areas. Using the edges of the broad nib, a variety of different stroke widths can be achieved.

Fully BlendableIt’s possible to overlay different Promarker colours to produce new colours, and depending on how wet the ink is, smooth transitions can be achieved. A special colourless Promarker Blender is part of the range, which can be used to soften and merge colours together. |
Extended Colour DepthPromarker colours have a translucent quality and can be layered to achieve varying depths and opacities. Going over the same spot creates darker tones of the same colour, enabling a versatile range of shading effects. |
Paper That Works BestFor the best results, use Promarker in conjunction with Winsor & Newton Bleedproof Paper. Although lightweight at just 75 gsm, it has been specially formulated to prevent marker ink from bleeding. It’s also very white and smooth and will make your colours look rich and vibrant with high levels of contrast. When not using Bleedproof Marker Paper, it is best to use heavyweight paper or card stock with a smooth coated surface. |
High Quality, Dye-Based ColourThe colour dyes used in Promarkers ensures an even colour lay down, with outstanding vibrancy and tonal variation. Unlike ordinary felt tipped pens or low grade markers, Promarker colours appear perfectly even, with no streaking. |

I love the color choices and variety of markers in the 24-marker set. 12 promarkers, 6 promarker brush, 3 promarker metallic and 3 promarker neon! And the black zippered storage bag is quite unique. Inside, the markers are stored in small sections of three-markers each. And these sections can be propped up and attached to a Velcro base, so they are easy to grab when working on a project. And the colors are a joy... so vivid, and they have fun names, like "Duck Egg" blue. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone working on illustration, design, card-making and scrap booking.

If you're not really too much into markers or don't plan on trying to create a big collection, then these will work fine. They are indeed fine markers with good ink quality and blend very nicely/evenly. I have no complaint about them. Its just that there isn't really a compelling reason to buy them over copics if If you will be trying to start a collection, and plan on working a lot with, and long-term with alcohol-based markers. In the long run, you will be spending less on Copics as you can get refills for copics but not for promarkers. The jump in price from these to Copics ends up justifying itself if you like markers and work with them frequently. Plus, Copic's superior color variety will certainly help your work. So, while these are good markers, they are not cheap enough to be a straightforwardly better choice than Copics economically, have poorer color variety, and cannot be refilled. Like I said, I wouldn't buy them (again) unless I was just experimenting with alcohol-based markers or wasn't really crazy enough about markers to try to start a collection.
My friends have raved about copics of course, but I couldn’t justify it. Still, I wanted to use something special for inktober this year, so I spent a few days researching alternative markers and took a chance on these.
And you know what? I like them!
I’m still getting used to using markers and I’ve practiced blending them a bit, both with the blend marker I bought separately and without it.
I had success with blending the darker colors as you can see in the witch drawing, but the jury is out on the lighter ones. The paper I’m using bleeds and isn’t entirely suited for inks, so that may be part of my problem.
I use 1 to shade white things like t shirts or armor, and I use the 4 and 5 to fill shadows. The black(6) is pretty intense (as you can see in the joker drawing) so I don’t use it as often, but it’s still great.
My primary struggle has been filling in large spaces with one color, since one area dries faster than the others. As much as you can, keep the marker on the paper in even strokes so that the ink can stay even. I failed to do that on the whale drawing, but it ended up giving it a cool underwater look, so it all worked out!
I definitely would buy these again, and am considering looking into the color version of these markers :)
