FAQ
I upgraded from a D1 to the S1 20w and what a game changer! It is still exciting to open the lid after running to see the magic. I got the 20w since I don’t really need to do deeper cutting as this does fine. My husband can do anything else I need in his shop so I and thrilled with this machine. Easy to use right out of the box and though there are still so many things to learn, I am having fun along the way. I love xTool and their products. Seem to be continuing to improve and love the new upgrades coming in XCS (I got a peek in the beta testing).
Great machine! Took just over 30 minutes for this noob to get up and running. Now I can't leave it alone.
Being able to switch the laser modules makes the S1 our perfect first laser engraver. We love being able to use a wide variety of materials and how easy the XCS software is to use!
I am enjoying engraving with the S1, it’s pretty fast for the designs I’m working on and it can cut 1/4” mdf which my other laser chars. I’ve basically just been engraving with it.
