Okay kit, poor crimp quality
This kit is okay for a short lived project or just trying out the JST XH series connectors, but other than that you get what you pay for. Quality of the board side connectors are okay, I cannot find fault in the lead finish; however the crimps are horribly dirty and caused high resistance connection in a project within hours.I used the GeeBat kit to power an LED. Application current was 30mA maximum, for a duration of ~12 hours at which point it failed. I wiggled the connector back and forth a little bit and got intermittent contact; pushed and pulled lightly on wire with same result. Finally pulled connector all the way out and plugged and removed in several times, and the fault went away. Afterward I took the setup to the microscope and found no fault in the crimp or the wire, but noticed lots of junk on the male board side pin.The pictures are a bit blurry, but I put the GeeBat and an official JST side by side to see what was up. The JST connectors are smooth and clean, whereas the GeeBat looked okay, but the primary contact point was corroded. I pulled out all the unused GeeBat female crimps showing the same story. So the only conclusion I can gather is that I got a bad batch, or their tooling and process control is horrible.I scrapped all the obviously poor mating crimps but kept the board male housings, as there were no signs of corrosion on those parts.

Comes with enough of each size to get by. Plenty of pins in case you mess up or have a cheap crimper. Note that the kit comes with the connector and board mount connections - there's no way (other than soldering to the board mount connector) to make a crimped connection between two wires.

If you're not sure that you need this size (JST-XH), check the pitch size. It's also worth noting that the official manufacturer specification for the JST-XH connection is a 2.5mm pitch, not 2.54. I don't know whether this is specced wrong, or just described wrong, but I've not had any issues using these.

I have a Creality Ender 3 3D printer and have performed numerous modifications. The impetus behind purchasing this kit was when I upgraded my controller board to the BigTreeTech SKR Mini e3 v3. On the original setup, there are two fans attached to the print head, one for cooling down the heat-break and another for cooling down the filament that has just been extruded. For some odd reason, one of these fans had the JST-XH connector but the other used screw terminals on the original controller board. On the BigTreeTech board, all the fans use JST-XH connectors, so I needed to convert the one that had used the screw terminals to have a JST connector.

Just a note, the crimp pins are tiny and I have fat fingers and my vision is not what it once was (I'm 51). This made crimping the pins difficult, but not impossible, for me. Once the pins were properly crimped, they fit into the plastic housing with no difficulty and I was able to plug in my fan.

After fixing my fan issue, I made several other modifications to my printer. I ended up moving my controller board to a new enclosure on the back side of the printer and needed to reroute many wires. Having this kit allowed me to create custom cables that were just the perfect length for the new location.

The flip side is that they are tiny and individually, they could be easily lost. I did have to buy a lot more than I needed, but at the price, it was definitely worth it.

Nice assorted set that comes as described well packed and organized in the box. Would have liked the 7pin connector added to the set instead of the 2 pin connector. Like me, I think that most electronic nerds that buy these sets use it either to fix or build their own battery packs. However to build the balance wire for the 6 Cell packs you would need 7 pins. Unfortenately that one does not com with this set so you can only build or repair Battery Packs up to 5 cells while collecting the 2 pins as you hardly use them.
