Optrel Crystal 2.0 Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet 1006.900

True colour vision –directly when welding.

How the weld pool melts, how the weld seam is created. You can see how the filler material is immersed in the welding pool and gain complete control over your work.

CLT offers you brilliant vision, like through a window pane. Crystal clear. And thanks to optrel Autopilot always with the right protection level.

-

True color means not the same as true color

As far as always the distinction can be seen upon taking a closer look. With the crystal lens technology you will recognize the difference immediately when putting it on.

The color perception in light state is almost like looking through clear window glass and in dark mode you enjoy a detailled and high-contrast view of the welding pool with a never-seen-before clearness.

You won’t believe your eyes

With light transmission of 31% in bright condition (protection level 2!) welders have for the first time a practically unclouded and clear view of their working environment. This in combination with the almost perfect colour spectrum of the CLT2.0 for the first time allows welders to see what is really going on in the weld pool, and with a clarity that equates to insights into a new dimension. This is why welders describe this as an enlightenment.

For Maximum of Comfort at Welding:

  • Integriated Particle Filter of the highest Safety Class (TH3)
  • Protects reliably from Smoke, Aerosols, and Dust

The Auto-Dark lens can also be operated in fully manual mode with infinite shade adjustment between shades 4 and 12 for a custom view of the arc. The crystal 2. 0 welding helmet also has improved true color Technology, which allows for realistic color perception in light or dark States. The crystal 2. 0 has external controls to switch quickly and easily from weld to grind mode and back again. Delay and Sensitivity can also be controlled using the external knobs. True color - The color perception in light state is almost like looking through clear window glass and in dark mode, you enjoy a detailed and high-contrast view of the welding pool with never-seen-before clarity. External lens controls include infinite shade 4 to 12 adjustment, delay and infinite sensitivity Adjustment and allow for Quick switching between weld and grind modes without removing the welding hood. Heat reflecting paint - helps welder stay cooler under the hood. Patented sensor slide allows the detection angle to be reduced from 120° to 60° to prevent the ADF from responding to welding nearby. Patented Exciter perfectly centers the welding helmet when in open position for better comfort, balance and less neck fatigue. Comfort headband quickly and easily adjusts for size, forward position and top Position.

Broke after less than a year.
Great product but breaks very easily. It's still under factory warrenty but I am not getting any response from the Optrel. the visuals are 10/10 but unless you can afford to buy a new one every 6 months then just go with a more tradtional helmet. The autodarkening just stopped working fyi.p.s.They got back to me about replacing the broken part. changed to a 3 star. Took a little while.

5.0 out of 5 stars Topbclass lighting and good FOV. Smart unit and wide lighting viability.
Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2019
The one bad I have found so far: I really cant over emphasise how badly I want thisbto be a wide Field of view helmet. It feels cobstricted compared to my demo $70-ish unit.

The good, true color more than I ever could have guessed, and I too photos, had my son and wife both check it outbside by side with my other helmets. It really gives true color. How important that really is with welding? Idk, but I do love having it. I know you can toss the helmet up to see but this thing is really smart! It still has a relatively wide Field of view although not ultra wide like some select units.

The helmet faceplate has a bevel on it and this keeps it from rolling into granite or concrete and scratching thebface unnecessarily. I have many pics to show the unit as well as I could

5.0 out of 5 stars Calidad ante todo
