About this item
- 🏌【Nice Consistency of Grips】The weight deviation of the 13 grips set is limited to +/-1.5g. Comparing with the industry standard of +/- 3g, this will greatly enhance your swing stability and allow you to fully enjoy your golfing time.
- 🏌【Cross Corded Technology】Cross-corded technology used in upper part of the grips provides enhanced anti-slip performance and stability.
- 🏌【Low Taper Design】Low taper design used on the lower part of the grip allows less tension on your hands to guide the club better, which reduces grip pressure for better control. The swing is smoother and more powerful.
- 🏌【All-Weather Control】The soft micro-texture of the golf club grips increases grip and combines with the non-slip nature of the cotton thread to allow you to enjoy the fun of golf anytime, anywhere.
- 🏌【Multiple Choices】Three sizes: standard/mid/jumbo. Six colors: White, Grey, Blue, Red, Green, Orange. Two bundles: Upgrade Set(include 15 tapes for free), Deluxe set(includes full regripping kit). 1. Use a curved razor blade to remove old golf grips (available at any hardware store). It's safer for you because cutting off the old grips does require some effort, if you slip you're unlikely to cut your self. A curved blade will also keep you from 'knicking' graphite shafts.
2, DO NOT put steel shafts into a vise without golf vise clamp (available through Amazon and most golf stores for a few dollars, you'll need two). Otherwise you risk collapsing the shaft, replacing those are very expensive.
3. I use a collapsible and portable work bench to secure the shaft in the rubber shaft grips before installing the new grip, but you could just as easily secure them with a C-Clamp or two and a table or work bench.
I changed my grips just fine without the use of a vice, but if you have a vice, I would highly recommend using one with the provided rubber clamp. It can be a little tricky getting the grip to slide on the shaft when you are holding the grip in one hand and the shaft in the other. Can get kinda messy too.
As far as the grips are concerned, they feel great. I purchased the midsized grips. They feel meaty and give me more confidence to “grip it and rip it” as they say. They have a good solid feel. I don’t have a whole lot of swings on them yet, so I am not sure about the durability, but so far so good.
Considering the cost and everything you get in the kit to install them, and the great feel of the grips themselves, I’d recommend them and would most-likely buy them again in the future.
So...needed new grips for an iron set reshaft and didn't want to break the bank. The currently wonderful economy (sarc) has killed my retirement, so I thought I'd take a chance on these as the price was good and didn't have many bad reviews overall. I used a set of shafts that were pulled from another set of irons I had previously reshafted; these shafts had the Golfpride CP2 Pro grips already on them. Dry fitted the heads-shafts for swingweight and tip-weighted accordingly. THEN I bought these Saplize hybrid grips in midsize (size based on other review comments) to change out the grips. Midsize worked out great!
The only problem is these Saplize hybrid midsize grips are on average ~20 grams heavier than the CP2's, and the end result is a 4+ point lighter swingweight. The weight consistency of these grips was good, all within 2 grams, most were 76g, three were 75g, and one was 74g.
The grips themselves feel really good; I think these will work out well. I haven't been able to hit the irons yet to see if the lighter swingweight will be an issue or not. If it is, I can always do the good old lead tape fix to adjust a little. Next time, I'll dry fit with the correct components.
Some reviewers mentioned colors fading because of solvent. If you get solvent on the outside of a grip DO NOT RUB; just "dab" it off with a cloth and there will be no color fading/running. Also, I used my regular grip tape, not the tape that came with the grips...and plenty of solvent. I had no problems with installation.
Overall, I think these will work out fine. They are not as high quality finish-wise as a GP, but they ARE less than half the price and still very playable!
Durability is still a question, but at this price I can afford to change them out more often if needed.
Overall, I am pleased with the Saplize Hybrid midsize and will probably buy again. If you need grips that are economical and still very playable you should give these try.

Use lots of solvent, I actually ended up using WD-40 as my solvent which worked perfectly. Once dried the grips felt great with no issues.
The grips have a great feel, very similar to the golf pride grips I have on a couple of my other clubs. Of course durability and long term feel can only be tested over time but as of right now I would say these are a great buy. Would definitely recommend!
