Publisher's summary

My name is Abby Odell, and I’m leading a double life.

Don’t get me wrong. I love it! But being a witch in a predominantly human world is challenging sometimes. My hometown, Holiday Hills, isn’t your typical small town. It’s a magical town, but not to the humans. At least not until recently.

Something’s happening, and it’s not good. Magic is no longer hidden, and people are starting to witness events that don’t seem humanly possible. And that’s the problem. They’re not! Now my friends and neighbors are on edge, and some residents are even ready to turn Holiday Hills into the next Salem, Massachusetts.

Someone’s changing the way Holiday Hills works, and it’s my job to fix things before they change humanity and magic forever. The problem is, I don’t know the who, what, when or why...just the where. Now I’ve got to find the witch who’s joining worlds and stop them before they tilt the axis. So far, Holiday Hills will never be the same.

Slow and confusing at first then gets good

It’s a good book. I wondered where she was going at first then she started adding the story into the mix. Story ended with me wanting more .

Great story and characters but,

I love the characters the humor and story line, but the stories get shorter and shorter. I listen on my way to and from work, with a 45 minute drive time I've had to re-wind so I don't end in the middle of rush hour

Great story!

I’ll get my gripe out of the way really quickly, it’s minor but it annoyed me hahaha
In book 2 Abby has read Harry Potter but not seen the movies. In book three she’s doesn’t know what hogwarts is. Love continuity. It was weird to break into. Something so minor.

Now this story! Enjoyed the Salem thing and the older witches in the book. Very entertaining and interesting for a history buff like myself.

Enjoyed the seemingly lower stakes. And the expansion of the mythology. There was a pretty big leap at the end which (witch puns! Yaay) I hope gets explained in the next book.

As usual the stars are Abby and Cooper. The narration was on point as expected. Jaimee is fantastic at making sure you always know who is speaking and that you feel the character’s emotions!

Also... weird bad catch on my part. How did I get to book three without noticing that Holiday Hills Witch is a play on Beverly Hills Cop? Lol

If you like Cozy mysteries or even just witches you’ll adore this audiobook!
