Create but try not to scratch it
I purchased this tablet because I needed it for my design class I would have preferred a cintique because it has a screen and you literally can draw on it and can see you creation as you create it all on the same screen but for the amount of money I had in my pocket at the moment being a college student this was my best bet. The area of space on the tablet which you could use to draw was a problem for some in my class who was using the same tablet but I found it not so bad because I have always found it kind of intimidating to have to draw on a 11x17 piece of paper ,even 8.5x11 was pushing it but the small size didn't bother me it actually made me more comfortable. Especially since I wasn't familiar with creating actually digital work by hand besides by using mouse. Overall Drawing with the pen is great the only thing I would suggest is finding soft nibs to put in the tablet pen because from much use I have actually abused the tablet and possibly will have to purchase another one sadly. The programs I used this with is Photoshop on my Toshiba Satellite. Side note: make sure this tablet is compatible with your drives because it may lag .Overall it's a great tool which takes no room in my bag but does such big things. Also you may want to get a little case which are pretty affordable to protect it and minimize chances of it being scuffed. Here is a example of work created with this product in Photoshop .
