Product Description
48 Pins King Size Knitting Machine with Row Counter
Tips
- The 48-needle knitting machine is only suitable for 1.5mm-4.5mm yarn, too thick yarn may make the machine stuck, can not be turned, too fine yarn, there may be dropped stitches, crochet hook can not hook the yarn.
- Be very careful not to drop any stitches in the first three to four turns of weaving, Because the first laps are the foundation of success.
- Don't rotate the handle too fast, or it will drop stitches easily.
48 Needles knitting machine with ROW COUNTER
Discover the pleasure of handmade
Handle won't turn
- Please try to turn the handle without yarn, If it is still stuck, it should be that the gear is worn out and the gear on the handle needs to be replaced.
- If the hand crank is normal, but it is stuck at a certain spot, it may be that the mode of loop weaving and plain weaving is wrong. We recommend that you try to adjust to T gear.
- Our 48 needles knitting machine is equipped with ROW COUNTER.
- P gear for flat weaving:Flat weave, can be used for needle reduction. It can be weave scarves, bags, sweaters, pillows, clothes, etc.
- T gear for ring weaving: Round weave, fixed stitch number. It can be weave hats, gloves, rag dolls, etc.
Avoid dropping stitches
Please Note!!!
Dropping stitches
- Please check whether the wire rack is installed correctly.
- Different sizes of wool need different degrees of tightness control. It is recommended that thick threads only pass through the outermost large thread hole.
- The thread ball should be loosened, loosen the thread ball before starting the needle.
- Starting the needle:
- First turn the handle clockwise to the starting needle, and then start to hang the thread onto the needle
- After hanging the thread from the right side of the starting needle, the first stitch should be inside the crochet hook. The second stitch is on the back of the crochet hook. Rotate the handle in this order to hang the thread. The first loop needs to be operated slowly.
- After the first loop of threading, the thread must pass through the thread opening and be placed in the groove, and cannot float on the surface.
- The needle does not come off automatically:
- The edge of plain knitting is easy to get stuck or drop the needle at the beginning of knitting, because there is no automatic pull off, at this time it should be manually pulled off
- Some knitted fabrics will have two thread is sheathed on the same needle, and it is not easy to automatically take off. At this time, we need to turn slowly and take off manually.
- If the yarn floats on the line card, if it is only one or two, press it manually. If there are too many, it proves that the yarn is too loose. At this time, you need to adjust the yarn on the spool and observe whether there is any yarn floating at the thread inlet.
This knitting machine is not suitable for Electric Knitting Machines Adapter, please don't install it without permission to avoid may causing damage to the machine.

The machine I ordered was supposed to be a sentro machine with 48 pins and a row counter. Instead I received a 48 pin 'santro' machine that has what is supposed to be a row counter but does not work at all. The sentro machine is already the cheap off brand version of the addi machine, so I am very disappointed to have recieved the off brand version of the off brand version item I was attempting to purchase.
But despite not receiving the correct brand, let's talk about my actual review of the machine. This knitting machine I bought as a stand in, until I can afford an addi king size knitting machine. I am experienced in working with yarn; knitting, crocheting, weaving, loom knitting, etc. I've done it all. I watched a lot of YouTube videos on the sentro before making this purchase so I knew exactly what I should expect from the machine, and despite not actually being a sentro the machine I received works almost exactly the same.
Let's start with the cons:
-My row counter doesnt work. At all. Extremely frustrating. I can't make things exactly uniform and instead have to measure my pieces with my tape measure, which means pieces vary by a few rows.
-Turning the machine manually begins to hurt your hand after a while, but this machine is definitely not good enough to handle one of those drill attachments that will turn it for you, so you just have to deal with the hand pain or take excessive amounts of breaks. (I am 21 and I dont have arthritis, this thing is just uncomfortable.)
- You have to have this secured or suction cupped onto a flat surface. It will drop stitches like crazy if it's at even a slight angle or a tiny bit wobbly.
Pros:
-I can actually use it to make hats relatively quickly, I've made about 10 hats and 3 scarves on it
Some additional things to note:
- This machine is extremely picky about the yarn it will work with. I personally have found Caron Simply Soft and Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn to work best. I am going to try Lion Brand Mandala Baby soon.
- Don't buy this machine if you have no experience with yarn crafts. It will be a huge pain in the behind to figure out everything from scratch on a machine that barely works.
- If you do want to buy a Sentro definitely do not buy one from this listing, because you might get a broken Santro instead.

That being said, this machine has changed the game for me. I got it today and immediately got it out and started YouTubing how to get it going. It was simple enough, and after only one failed try which was user error, I knitted an entire skein of yarn in about 45 minutes. There was zero dropped stitches, it was perfectly uniform, and I like that it was so easy and fast to use. However the machine itself was made of cheap plastic and I feel like instead of plastic gears they should have used metal on the inside to make it more sturdy seeing as how the thing costed me $60.
Overall i feel like it was an excellent purchase, and I hope to get many many uses out of it. Side note, the yarn that comes with the machine is nice, but is not suitable to use in the machine as it is slightly too bulky. Definitely stick to thinner yarn when using it, because the hooks are somewhat on the small side!
