The first box I got was a small AWD box in purple- and that tape was AWESOME. Thick and felt great on. Every box since has been different brand and lesser quality. They all stay on for days no issue but still not as good in feel as the purple AWD tape. Don’t know how to get the specific one that I like so I won’t be ordering anymore.

This is the first of this type of product I tried. I’ve since tried one other similar product and this is my favorite. It’s very flexible. I’m using it after surgery on my foot so I cut off a small section and it has to mold around curves of my big toe joint in both directions. It sticks well and is easy to apply. The other product I tried was much less flexible and the silicone was too gooey and hard to apply for my specific needs.

I had a tummy tuck and I started these about 3 weeks after my surgery. In just about 2 weeks of using these I can see a huge improvement in my scar, it as flatter and lighter. I am amazed at how quickly I can see the difference. These are easy to wash and reuse, I wash them and then stick them on a piece of wax paper to dry. I have been wearing them for about 10 hours a day. Very much worth the money!

Yup, silicone tape actually does reduce scarring. Having recently tried several versions of this product, this particular silicone tape works the best of the bunch -- and it is the most cost effective.

Begin treatment once fully healed (about 7-10 days). Just cut the tape a bit longer and wider than the scar. Apply to clean and dry skin. It works best on recent scars. However, to my pleasant surprise, this silicone tape is effective in significantly reducing old scars as well (individual results will vary).

Individual skin sensitivity to silicone also varies. Most folks tolerate silicone tape without issue. It is recommended to apply for 4 hours for the first few days and gradually increase contact time to 12-16 hours per day. I had no reaction to lengthy and continuous daily exposure -- other than a visible and welcome reduction in scarring. I have been using this product daily for the past 12 days and am very pleased with the results on several small to medium new and even old scars.

The only qualm I have with this product is with the advertised claims about reusability. In my experience, it is not practical to reuse this tape as it does not adhere well when reapplied. Despite meticulous cleaning, if previously used, the tape rarely adheres properly. Also, slightly trimming off the square corners of the tape patch will reduce the likelihood of it lifting during normal daily activities.

On the whole, this silicone tape works quite well in reducing visible scarring. It is easy to apply, remains on the skin reasonably well, and if properly and consistently applied, the results will put a smile on the face of most folks. It certainly did mine.

No lie, put this on a scar and it all but disappears in a matter of weeks.. However, what I love about this product is using it on corns and calluses. My podiatrist recommended using a medical microplane (which Amazon sells) to remove calluses and then wearing a bandaid with urea on the patch over the calluse to soften the skin over night. This tape works better, is cheaper and cleaner. I wear it day and night, replacing it when I shower. Goodbye foot pain. Proof reading this sounds like I work fir either the tape company or Amazon - but neither - calluses made life hell for a number of years, and the above ended it. Hope it works for you.

I had facial surgery for lesion removals and was left with very significant scars several inches on each cheek.
I've had to have many of these surgeries for years so I've gone through a lot of different silicon tape to reduce their appearance. This is by far the best.
