5.0 out of 5 stars Great set for shellac
Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2021
I use these store brushes to apply shellac. They are really fantastic for holding and evenly applying the finish.

I have one that I spent $20+ on. I wanted some wider ones for when I do wider boards but didn't want to spend that kind of money. I took a chance on these. It worked great for applying the shellac to the spice racks I built for my wife

5.0 out of 5 stars Good solid brushes. Recommend!
Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2016
Well-constructed, nice brushes! I foresee myself going through a lot of these, so I'll probably be buying these again. I've been using them for about a week, and they're holding together quite well, despite the fact that I am not gentle with my brushes, and these get scrubbed more vigorously than most when it's time to clean them.

That said, my experience is with the 1" and 2" brushes in this package. The 3" one is a little bit too big to use easily at this point (my wax cans aren't wide enough to dip it into), but I'm confident that that will change in the future. I would like to see about getting smaller ones now, too, though, since these are working out so well. I don't think hakes come much smaller, though, so I may be hunting for an equivalent for a while!

Good solid brushes. Recommend!
