These are slimmer than the ones that came with my Logitech mouse. I might need to replace the original! I bought the pack as I had a few mice that were "freed" from their dongle.
Logitech software made pairing to the device really simple. So simple I thought, "Could it have been that easy?" Yes, it's that easy.
Once paired the mice have worked as expected without issues. I think one of them lost pairing, but that particular mouse has always been more "self-directed." Or suspect. You decide. Given that the other mice all worked flawlessly it's probably related to the specific mouse, and not the dongle.
These Unifying receivers can pair I believe up to 5 devices. Such a mouse, or headset. Logitech makes an awesome range of products. If your devices uses the Unifying receiver, then you likely only need this one.
Now my Logitech 903 mouse (which I love, even though I'm not a gamer), that requires a special dongle ... this wouldn't work. But the 903 documentation clearly states if you want the best performance, use the customized dongle.
