This new version adds more fun to the original, albeit with a couple negatives. The original would contain the marble when it would fall off the obstacles. This new version sends it flying off the sides and therefore makes it easier to lose or otherwise keep track of them. Also, on part of the spiral track, the marble would not stay on no matter how slow or how hard we tried. I ended up having to heat that section (carefully) and bending the track slightly so it would work properly.
It’s not as much fun as the original, but it’s still worth picking up. Especially when you want to turn off the screens (TV, phone, etc) for a while!
