    Nice and portable. I liked that I could take it to work easily in my backpack and set my phone or iPad on it wherever/whenever I needed it. It's got a nice rubber base that keeps it in place.However, I feel like the adjustable hinge (to change the angle) has gotten loose and sometimes if the angle is too wide, it'll just sprawl open, then you have to fix it and put it back up, which is cumbersome. I couldn't find any way to tighten it more. Also, it's pretty loud whenever you adjust the angle. When it slips wider it makes a super loud ratcheting sound, which is also cumbersome.If there were a way to tighten the hinge of this thing, I'd probably give it 5 stars.

I even tried bending it forcefully, but it remained undaunted. Additionally, the rubberized strip on the bottom of the thicker portion is an added advantage. However, there is one aspect that I find slightly unpleasant. The hinge employs some form of toothed gear to maintain its angle, and the noise it generates while adjusting the angle is louder than anticipated.

    When I saw this online, I thought it was made of metal. I had a metal one previously that looked just like this one and the position you put it in locked and stayed there. You changed the position by pressing on the two discs at the ends to unlock it and move, then it locked again. This one doesn't lock and, every dang time I try to move my device a little bit, it folds closed and falls over. VERY annoying. Also, it is only plastic so it is lightweight, which doesn't help with the tipping issue. If you want to use this on a table or some other flat surface, it'll probably be okay, but if you want to use it to read in bed or lounge on a couch or something like that, I wouldn't recommend it. It is too unstable for that. Also, the groove to put the device in is too small for my mini-Ipad with a case on it. You can still use it but it will often slide out because it is a bit too fat for the groove. So this one was a no-go for me.
