    Tengo años trabajando en temas audiovisuales, particularmente desarrollando mi canal de Youtube, antes más como hobby que como negocio. Para ello, com principal micrófono tenía unos Audio-Technica lavalier de cable con un cable de más de 6 metros. Tenía dos básicamente para entrevistas, pero ambos se dañaron y quedé a merced del Shotgun integrado a mi cámara. Antes era sumamente costoso entrar en el mundo de la microfonía inalámbrica, hasta que Rode entró en escena con este kit.Ahora no sólo o uso en mis propios videos, sino qu estoy desarrollando un negocio de videos corporativos y este kit ha sido excelente. La practicidad del no tener cables, la conveniencia de un tamaño compacto en el transmisor y en el receptor, la versatilidad de poder usar el transmisor como micrófono en diversos escenarios. Eso sí, eventualmente lo más práctico sería combinar este kit con una balita dedicada para hacer más fácil lidiar con el transmisor.El kit viene emparejado de fábrica, cosa que se agradece. Trae sus cables, unos cortavientos y una funda para cargarlo todo. Se cargan mediante USB Tipo-C que , a estas alturas, es casi un conector universal (aunque Apple siga aferrado al Lightning), lo que hace mucho más práctico el asunto.¿Lo compraría de nuevo? - Definitivamente. De hecho, quiero comprar un segundo kit para entrevistas y, eventualmente, conectar un micrófono Boom. Sí, así de práctico es.

    There have been quite a few negative reviews on the product so I feel a little compelled to share my experience. I would like to say that out of the box, it works great, no signal disruption even in the most wifi dense spaces I can find, excellent range, and audio records reliably whether my back is turned to the camera or not, even at 20 meters away, through a glass door with a metallic UV coating.

    The devices are tiny in size and are able to record for up to 7 hours. They fit wonderfully into camera cold shoes, or clipped to your shirt and levels can be adjusted directly on the receiver unit. They even include a cute carry pouch, TRS cable, and 2 wind muffs in the package.

    I tested the built in mic to my own lavalier mic plugged into the unit and the sound quality is very good. The lows are slightly more rolled off on the built in mic but subjectively I actually like the way my voice sounds on the built in mic a little more (I have a slightly lower, nasal sounding voice). This is far beyond what i expected for a built in mic and will be using it over my lav mic from now on in most situations. Based on the negative reviews I read here, I also tried hot plugging and unplugging microphones during the recording process and trying all sorts of silly tricks to get the unit to stop recording audio but it just never happened. The device is rock solid

    The only thing I cannot vouch for is long term reliability. If the device does encounter issues, I will update this review. But if this is all you are reading, assume the product continues to work well for me

    The product is incredible value and I would dare say, an absolute no brainer for anyone with even a slight inclination towards recording decent audio. What you get for the price simply can't be beaten, in my opinion

    I bought the Rode Wireless Go for a conference that I was video/audio recording using my Canon DSLR camera. The wireless microphone system worked flawlessly! Sound was crisp and clear and since the transmitter/receiver comes pre-pared together, setup was super easy and required no additional steps than charging and turning on the power. Gain is easily selectable on the receiving unit and the color LED screen is super handy and slick to show you audio levels and battery level on both devices. Displaying the battery level of the transmitter on the receiving unit is a super handy feature!

    Other reviewers have complained that the wind muff doesn't stay on properly, but I noticed that according to the Rode website, you need to pull the little fuzzies out of the way before clipping and when trying it myself, I found it to be a strong, tight grip. Others have complained that when attaching an external wired mic to the transmitter and then removing it, the transmitter stops sending audio. I also have the wired Lavalier Go mic (which is newly-released at the time of this review and not available on Amazon yet), which is designed to be used with this microphone system. I have tried plugging the mic in and removing it with no issues. Don't get the SmartLav to use with this system, you will need an adapter, get the Lavalier Go, which does not.

    Overall these worked flawlessly for me, great audio quality, and I'm really happy with the purchase!

    I use this mic to teach yoga online and record Youtube videos. You just turn it on and it works right out of the box. You can control the volume to low, medium or high. I find that low works well. I usually just clip it to my shirt or sports bra. It holds study throughout my yoga class even with floor poses and poses that involve twists without compromising the sound quality. I did buy a headset to use with this mic but have found I really don't need it. I originally bought a wireless mic set from a different brand for half the price but I had to find the right channel on the transmitter and the mic and even at that - the sound quality wasn't right. I'm glad I traded up to the Rode Wireless Go, it's super simple to use and the sound quality is wonderful. This a great little mic set that is well worth the price.

    I've owned many wireless lavs and have used high end professional grade on work shoots and this little duo out-performs them all, especially for the price. I had recently sold my last wireless lav because i was frustrated with cut signals and other issues. I was just using wired lav/recorders which work great but no real-time audio monitoring. This product really impressed me. I bought it because the price seemed good and would be worth a try and could be pretty useful for transmitting audio . It's not my go-to for all my shoots and even when they clients bust out the more expensive gear I prefer to use this one instead.

    Al principio tuve una muy mala experiencia debido al pésimo servicio de FEDEX, y el poco tacto al momento de hacer la entrega y solicitar un cobro de 20 dls o 360 pesos mexicanos. Hice el reporte al vendedor y Amazon. Tengo que decir que la respuesta del vendedor fue puntual y me reembolsó en una tarjeta de regalo esos 360 pesos pues no estaban en la publicación y también soy miembro prime, por lo que decía que era gratis. Ahora del producto, puedo decir que es de muy buena calidad y cumple con las expectativas, venía un poco golpeada la caja, pero el interior estaba intacto y los micrófonos funcionaron sin problema, es más, venían con carga de fábrica y funcionaron genial. Agradezco la pronta atención y la palabra empeñada para con los clientes. Buen producto, vendedor confiable y satisfecho nuevamente.

    No puedo opinar del producto por sí mismo, dado que ni siquiera lo pude tener en mis manos. La cuestión es que el envío llegó antes de lo esperado y eso está bien, el problema es con Fedex, que a través de su repartidor, llegó a mi domicilio y exigió el pago de 390 pesos mx por el producto, dado que había pasado por aduana y que provenía de Italia, manifestando a la vez que se trataba de un micrófono, y que si yo deseaba que me lo entregara, tenía que pagarle en mano los 390 pesos (20 usd aprox). Le anuncié que checaría con el vendedor ese detalle dado que no estaba en la publicación el cobro de ese concepto, considerando también que pago membresía prime, pero me respondió de inmediato: "que no me preocupara, que el paquete se devolvería al vendedor". Me siento muy decepcionado, y me parece muy irregular que un mensajero quiera cobrar en piso, un peaje o impuesto aduanal. Lo hubiera pagado sin problemas, pero no son las formas y no es transparente, me causa desconfianza e incertidumbre. Mal por el vendedor y muy mal por Fedex. Tramitaré el reembolso.

    Works beautifully and soundquality is very nice. For some reason the cord that came with worked just fine straight into my macbook pro - with a usb switch. Had no problems. Use only the mic from the device - no extra small mics, since I read that can get the mic in it faulty.

    Great for teaching online classes - I can move around the studio and the sound stays intact.

    This mic is amazing! So small and so compact. So simple and easy to use. Great audio quality. Also bought one, along with the Rode SC 7 cable, for my brother to use on his phone for recording his YouTube channel and he loves it. The unit comes with two windscreens that actually hold quite firmly, despite the ease of attaching and removal. The charge time for both the transmitter and receiver is quite reasonable. (2 hrs I think, with at least 5 hrs of use) The mic is omnidirectional and very capable of handling interviewing situations, where the interviewee is about 1.5m or less away from the mic. I had an interesting setup of the mic, with the windscreen, facing down towards the noisy beach surf and approx. 1m away from me. The mic was still able to pick up my voice with great clarity! I was mildly shocked when I played back the video. There a couple of preset input gains that are easy to access and adjusr, for whatever acoustic dynamics you're dealing with.

    Although the shape of the unit is rather bulky, it doesn't look too awkward, even when clipped onto form-fitting clothing. That said, there is the option of attaching a lavalier mic on the transmitter, for a more discreet mic setup. (Hmmm... Now, I have to save up again for a good lav...)

    Gotten some nice reviews from my friends and family who've sampled my videographic musings with this mic. Overall, this mic is fun and makes any amateur (like me) appear much more professional. Highly recommended.
