    The Conn 52BSP CONNstellation Professional Bb Trumpet features a .462-inch bore with the patented Modular valve weight system for increased projection. A 4.9-inch seamless bell, plus a reverse mouthpipe and rounded tuning slide makes this instrument very free blowing. The Conn 52BSP CONNstellation Professional Bb Trumpet includes a case and mouthpiece and is avaiable in silver finish. The Conn "CONNstellation" 52BSP Bb trumpet is designed as a professional instrument but is positioned as intermediate. The .462" large bore, reverse leadpipe construction, and single radius main tuning slide combine to produce a very open free-blowing feel. The seamless 4-7/8" yellow brass bell provides great projection and control. The professional Monel piston material provides smooth and quick action. The 1st valve thumb saddle allows for easy intonation adjustments. The patented Modular Valve Weight (MLW) system gives the player a choice in response and feel. The silver-plate finish provides a controlled brilliance to the overall sound. The Conn 52BSP is one of the most versatile trumpets available today. About C.G.     I like everything about this trumpet. I played trumpet intensively 20 years ago and lately decided to play again. In the past I played on an old Elkhart Conn 38B. I loved the sound of it but always struggled with it due to its high resistance.

    When starting again, I looked for a more open trumpet with a high bore size. This trumpet has a .462" bore size and a very "open" feel, which (in my case) was perfect. The tone is dark, but with the standard Vincent Bach 3B mouthpiece you can easily reach the upper register.

    For me, this trumpet has worked and using some excellent video material on Youtube (from Paul mayes and Charlie Porter) I was able to get back in form.

    Great trumpet for high school band. My daughter loves it. She is the trumpet section leader. If you want your kid to go to the next level in band, seriously consider this horn. Nothing else in the price range compares. You won't be disappointed.
