In the Risk game, the goal is simple: players aim to conquer their enemies’ territories by building an army, moving their troops in, and engaging in battle. Depending on the roll of the dice, a player will either defeat the enemy or be defeated. This exciting game is filled with betrayal, alliances, and surprise attacks. On the battlefield, anything goes! Defeat all of the enemy troops in a territory to conquer that territory and get one step closer to global conquest! I'm not sure why we waited so long to purchase Risk. We played as a family with kids 7 and up and they all loved it. It was a concept that was easy to grasp, and as a homeschooling mom I was happy to see a few bits of educational aspects mixed in. I do worry about the sturdiness of the cards though.

Fun Game for the Fam

It's been years since I last played, purchased this for a birthday, and it was a hit. The set is great and better organized than I remember - feels like a premium and contemporary version of the classic one that is probably falling apart in many peoples closets!

It's not a risk- it's risky!

This is a Christmas gift for my 9 year old grandson. He requested it and I am sure he will be thrilled with the game. It arrived on time and in excellent condition.

Risk does what it set out to do: It is a simple wargame that is easily learned,  perfect for beginners, and uses both luck and strategy.  A smart player can use lots of tactics to mitigate the luck aspect.  If you play Risk correctly, you'll find a need to use diplomacy and politics. It can last a very long time -- but it's easy to leave and continue later. There is a reason this game has stayed popular for 50 years.  It's easy to learn and fun!

Good old classic, the build quality is decent. Wish it could provide a plastic container for troops as the paper ones are easily torn.

The boxes for the Armys are now paper. They aren't gonna hold up like the originals.  All the pieces are also cheaper made, for a game that is now over 30 dollars, the.product isnt worth it.
