Apparently this is just a prequel to The Wicked Prince, something I didn't know when I started it so I think I should mention it.
I guess it was ok for the most part. Stellan and Margot meet at a bar in New York and they're both instantly attracted to each other so they meet again the next day and they spend the night together. However, Margot doesn't know that Stellan is the crowned prince of Denmark and does something that could ruin his reputation.
The story was ok as was the writing style but nothing special. I think their first encounter (or maybe it was the second one, I can't remember) was a little awkward for me. I wasn't planning on reading the next book immediately but we don't get to see how this story ends so I guess I'm reading the The Wicked Prince now. 🤷🏻♀️

Short story, Margot is taken to an undercover bar with her friend Poppy who introduces her to Stephen. Only she has no idea how important he really is. This was so short and I was starting to get into it too. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

So... A little taste of what's to come but it's basically the synopsis plus a sex encounter? Honestly I'm not so disappointed since I did giggle a bit because of how silly were the dialogue and reactions of the main characters. Miscommunication at it's finest. Not interested in reading the actual book. Also, there's a scene where I feel like the use of drugs was highly romanticized, not cool.

"I inhale his scent; most of the guys I encounter don't smell *incredible* like he does. *Fresh bread* and clean soap mixed with a certain maleness." Yum.

Wow, this is a great prequel to the Dirty Royals series! We get a chance to meet Margot and Stellan Love, the crown Prince of Denmark. When Margot, a photographer for a newspaper who is sassy and feisty, goes out with her best friend, Pippa, to a club, and Margot meets Stellan who is spontaneously attracted to the pink hair beauty. Not knowing who Stellan is—their chemistry from the start is off-the-chart hot until an incident occurs that turns Margot’s life upside down. I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happened. If you like royal romances, take the journey and start reading Dirty Royals.

This was a quick and fun intro to Vivian’s The Dirty Royal Series. The sparks were flying until his secret came out!
Margot was talked into going out with a friend. Lucky for her, she met a handsome man but would his hidden truths cause it to end before it began?
Stellan was trying to spend as much time having fun before he had to go back home. He was not happy with being a prince, he never asked for what it came with. When he met Margot, he was quickly entranced, until a photo surfaced. How could he ever trust her again?
I look forward to continuing the series! Can’t wait to see how everything plays out!

Oh what a start to what looks like a brilliant story. I just love Margot, all Pink and feisty, fishnets and Leathers. She needs someone like her but what’s she gets is the total opposite....Tall, brooding and him...Stellan. He just wants to be normal but what Margot doesn’t realise is, he is a Prince of Denmark. Now the fun begins. Their chemistry is off the charts, explosive. Now what will Margot do once she finds out he is a Prince...well she’s not happy BUT her friend Pippa persuades her to go to Copenhagen...now watch the fun begin.

Margot Keane and her best friend from college, Pippa, go to a club in New York City. Pippa is visiting from Copenhagen. They end up meeting Erik, Lars and Stellan who are friends of Pippa that are also visiting from Copenhagen. Sparks fly between Margot and Stellan and they end up in Stellan’s hotel room. A wonderful prequel introducing Margot, a press photographer, and Stellan. Margot's friend is visiting from Europe, and other European friends meet them at a club. There is a private piece of knowledge that is withheld from Margot, and her actions lead to unfortunate consequences. I am hopeful of where this is going-there are a couple of strong connections within the characters we meet in this short story. Looking forward to the first book in this new series!

This prequel for the Wicked Prince is a great introduction to the lead characters and the situation they find themselves in. It is fun and flirty a well as full of steamy, hot intimacy-until it isn’t any more! The abrupt manner in which things end for Margot had me feeling very sorry for her, I honestly wanted to give Prince Stellan a swift kick in the pants. 😂 Pippa is a delightful friend, though, thank goodness.

W.O.W !!! What a series start!
Margot and Stellan have chemistry, serious, mind-blowing, scorching hot chemistry!
Ms. Wood has created another fantastic couple in her usual skilful way. I was captivated from the first page on and could only put this prequel down after reading the last sentence. I can't wait for the next book to be published so I can read more about Margot and Stellan!

This prequel for the upcoming A Royal Affair does not disappoint. Margot and Stellan met one night at a club and are immediately attracted to one another. Their chemistry is HOT!! However, little does Margot know that Stellan is the Crown Prince of Denmark. These two could not be more opposite. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. These two characters are sure to keep me on my toes.

This is a great prequel to the new series by this awesome author. I loved the story and the characters. I thought they had hot and steamy chemistry. Their story held my attention. Margot and Stellan are a great couple and can not wait to see what is to come. Highly recommend. Can not wait yo get my hands on the next book! Check it out! So worth it! Awesome start to a new series. Stellan and Margot are amazing characters with great chemistry. This book has a fantastic storyline that draws you in and holds your attention. It does end with a cliffhanger which was disappointing because the next book won't be out for a couple of months. But still a must read.

I don't like clifhangers
The tiny bit of story given was good. Wish it had some kind of ending instead of leaving me dangling. I would have bought the others book knowing that the writing was good and the story kept me interested. I won't take the chance now because I don't like being left hanging

Loved this! Margot, and Stellan have this great spark and tons of heat. Stellan kept a pretty big secret that has thrown a wrench in to Margot's life. I loved the story, it's a great introduction to these two characters and I'm very curious how their dynamic will grow and change as Margo makes big changes to her life. Can't wait for more!

I didn't care for Margot's deceit and devious posting of pics of royalty. She posted intimate private photos without asking the other party's permission. That wss extremely selfish on her part. Whatever is on the internet has long reaching effects. It was an invasion of privacy too. Where's her common decency and integrity? Not a fan of this amoral chit.

A good story. A story of alcohol, drugs, and sex with an interesting pair: Margot and Stellan. Plenty of testosterone in both of them. And neither of them appear willing to admit to having feelings. I'm guessing this is really just backstory for what is to come.
Easy-to-read. Entertaining. Haunting. Romantic. Steamy. Tragic. Twisted. Wonderful characters.

I read this since I received an ARC for His Forbidden Princess
So, Stellan and Margot first met in New York and they had this insane chemistry from the start.
They decided to pursue it, but then in the morning, it all went to hell since the press found out about Stellan.
He left Margot alone to fend off the press and went back home to Denmark.
It was really a great start to the series.
I became invested in the story and really curious about Stellan and Margot's end!

Eventful meeting
Who knew taking a couple of pictures would create such a fuss. Absolutely loved this book which is a quick prelude but thoroughly enjoyable and one I highly recommend. She didn't know he was a Prince when she met him just a cute guy she wanted to hook up with. Hope others enjoy it as much as I did.

Margot and her friend Pippa bump into some guys that Pippa knows. There's an instant attraction between Margot and Stellan. When they meet up for a second time their chemistry is off the charts. What Margot doesn't know is who Stellan is, and the impact he will have on her life.
