I loved finally getting Dempsey’s story. He comes across as a moody bad boy, but there is so much more to him and I loved seeing more of who he really is throughout this book. He has also been crushing on his mom’s best friend for years. Sloane came from a tough life, but she has worked hard, she is a police officer. She is also starting to see a new side to Dempsey, even if she shouldn’t.
These two have chemistry from the start. While Dempsey was always open about his feelings to Sloane, she struggled with her changing feelings for him. He proves time and time again to her that they are good together and when she is in danger he is insanely protective of her.

Bad Boy Falls First 🔥
From the very first chapter I knew I would like this book. It reads super quick which I appreciated this week. First off Dempsey had me smiling WAY too much. I just loved his whole demeanor. The way she wrote him made you remember that he was younger but also that he was becoming a man and I felt like we got to see him grow up before our very eyes. The fact that he is in love with his mom’s best friend who just so happens to be a cop made this story addicting. The angst this book had was off the charts. It’s like you wanted them to hurry up and be together but you also enjoyed the flirting and the forbidden aspect of it all. Not going to lie their first kiss gave me goosebumps it was that good 🔥 Sloane has known Dempsey and his twin sister since birth. When the rolls are reversed and it’s the MMC who’s known the FMC since birth it always grosses/creeps me out but having it be this way didn’t. I’m not sure why 🤣 I also normally love when the MMC is older and in this case he’s younger and I still ate it up. K Webster always has a way of getting me to like things I never thought I would. Dempsey and Sloane have my heart. I’m so sad it’s over, I’m going to miss them 😭Also, I can only hope my husband is as obsessed with me and Dempsey is with Sloane 🥹
