Lord Keiran Grayrose, and His brother Lord James Grayrose sons of the Scottish Duke Grayrose. Keiran is a Billionaire and his brother James is running for Prime Minister of the UK. On a visit to New York. They attend the Patrons Ball for the New York City Ballet Company. He meets Ella a premiere Ballerina who has been injured and is now looking for a different type of work. The sparks fly between them.
This is a very short novella and introduction to The Beast which is I guess the real story of Keiran and Ella.

Short little novella
The novella, The Scottish Billionaire, was definitely short. Overall, I liked the protagonists but I didn’t like how Ella was so easily swayed by her father. I forsee a whole mess building up around her in the next books.

Great Prequel to capture your interest!
Author Vivian Wood never ceases to catch my attention with every release and The Sinner was no different. Hot and sexy was mixed with dry and witty, all of which made for great reading entertainment, this prequel to her Ruined Castles series was a great quick read and has me looking forward to more of Kieran and Ella’s romance. Kier is also a single father, and there is nothing I love more, especially with one hell of an errant child who drives her care-givers crazy.
Billionaire and Peer, Lord Kieran Grayrose controls his staff with a rod of iron, yet he can’t even control his bounce-off-the-wall-drive-'em-to-quit 6-year-old daughter. He’s after another nanny, and he’s friends with Callum and Kaia from Ms Wood’s Broken Slipper series. See the connection?? No? Then that is a series you need to be checking out as well.
Young Ella Washington only envisaged ballet in her future until an injury side-lined her. He wants her to meet someone at a ballet gala that tends to be be known among the dancers as the 'Patrons Gala' for them to find sugar daddies. What?!
At the gala she is thrilled to see her best friend and someone we already know, Kaia (and her hubby, Calum). Kaia introduces her to the very man her father wants her to meet, Lord Greyrose

So I have been reading some good books lately, some not. This book has made my list.
Vivian has once again created a new series that will definitely reach out and grab you and drag you back to this amazing story.
Who does not like some drama with their story? How about a side of some sexual chemistry? Like hot super sexual chemistry.
Yeah I totally fell for it, and loved this read. This is just a glimpse of what we can expect of Ella, Keiran. There are some twists and turns in there to be watchful for.
Excellent read and I need more of these two.

This book delivers a very tempting taste that has me hungry for more!! Kieran and Ella definitely caught my attention with their smoky chemistry and incandescent sparks. If this enticing prequal is any indication, this new series is going to be tantalizingly juicy, sinfully steamy, richly decadent and utterly delicious!!

This is a spoiler-free review! The Scottish Billionaire is currently available for free on iBooks and Kindle.
Oh no, another billionaire romance in the free section, whatever will I do! Download it immediately. If there is one thing in my corner at all times, it is the romance section on iBooks -- I could check it every single day and find something new to download. I already had The Beast downloaded before I found out about The Scottish Billionaire, and I am a sucker for reading things in order, so here we are.
Ella is an injured ballerina basically being strong-armed by her parents into working for billionaire Keiran Greyrose as an au pair while she is on the bench until she is recovered. Her parents are absolute nightmares and basically she her as a pawn in a game rather than a human being with free will. She meets Keiran along with his brother at a gala, and right from the start you can see the tension between them, at lease from Keiran's point of view.
His brother James is insufferable, and ruining for primer minister, so it definitely checks out. We get a pretty good couple chapters of a big ensemble interaction that really nails each character and their personality right off the bat. Then we are thrown right into Keir and Ella's attraction and the smut scenes are well done and just a tiny bit unrealistic, but that is what makes it great to read. Ella is a virgin and is putting on an entire Cirque du Soleil performance for Keir approximately ten minutes after they have known each other.
The way that they argue with one another had me cracking up -- you could clearly tell that they have such big personalities and that it would prove be a problem for them as they find themselves in a major situation. We see them being confronted with multiple issues that will definitely be driving the plot forward in the full-length first installment, which I am excited to see played out.
You can see how much of a problem Ella's father is going to be in their story, especially coupled with the information you learn about his past and what he has done now. Along with the number of other issues Keir and Ella are facing, he may be the least of their worries for now.
If you are looking for an age-gap romance with a touch of action, this is certainly an excellent way to dive in, with similar attributes to Fifty Shades of Grey that readers will appreciate. You can read the novella to get a feel for the series, or go right into The Beast, as it includes this novella in the book.

Lord Kieran ‘Kier’ Grayrose and Ella Washington were first introduced to us as characters in
Broken Slipper Trilogy.
But now they are back with their own story to tell with
Ruined Castle Trilogy
series by Vivian Wood, starting with the prequel that is
The Sinner.
This prequel is a great start to setting up Kier and Ella's full story to come. Vivian captures your attention from the get go, not only allowing us to get a more closer look into their individual lives. Being able to get to know them a little more, given the dual perspective the story is told through.
But also showing how Kier and Ella come together and become entangled into each other's lives with one another.
Although it was a short, Vivian still delivered in giving a story that had many elements including drama surrounding blackmail and betrayal from lies being told, creating suspenseful build up that kept you gripped on. Particularly when it came to the mystery surrounding the secrets being kept, paving the way for deep emotions to be explored, especially given the situations and events that risen because of it.
But also showcasing the explosive sparks flying from the chemistry that was shared between Kier and Ella, leading to some very Hot, Wild and Spicy steam!
With a cliffhanger ending like that, The Sinner definitely has me wanting more and excited to see what’s to come in the series. And how Kier and Ella's story will continue to play out.
Definitely recommend checking The Sinner out, especially if you read and enjoyed Vivian Wood’s Broken Slipper Trilogy.

This is the first book for the beast.
you have to read this to know what's going on in the beast. Good thing its combined into one. At least on the download I have.
I went into this book feeling really good about it. But by the time I got towards the end, when the smut started, I wasn't enjoying it. There is no connection, it felt emotionless. Like how things were worded were off, didn't seem real, and I didn't see a connection between these two.
Then for the actual sex scene, which is why we read this ish...
She said she was a virgin. Kay. Cool.
They get started and he makes it out like he's only going to be going down on her all night giving her multiple O's on his tongue. She even said she was disappointed about that. There was no more mention of them ever having sex. You think there would've been a scene where he figured it out or she told him - and a descriptive scene about the sex, but no. All we got was the head then its the next morning.
The next mention of sex is from the reporter (how did the video even get taken?!?)
Then again when they are on the way to the air port he asked her about it getting out that she fucked him .... BUT IT NEVER MENTIONED THEM HAVING SEX!
I was thinking it was just head that happened and she left after a night full of Os on his tongue and fingers still a virgin. IDK maybe I got bored and glossed over that part? Doubtful - but I mean shit happens...
I'm just not feeling it. I'm going to continue though, hoping I can get more into it. Hopefully feel a connection between the characters.

However, an injury has put her on the sidelines and now a year after her surgery, she is still in recovery, but healing nicely. The Dr's don't think she'll ever be able to be a prima ballerina ever. Her dreams have been crushed. One night she is at a ballet gala with her father and friends. She meets Lord Greyrose, and she and he hit it off nicely. Ella's father seems to be up to something. It seems he might be trying to trick Ella into 'landing' a wealthy man to benefit him, not his daughter / family.
Will Lord Greyrose be able to keep Ella for himself or an au pair for his daughter? Will she even want that position?

This is the prequel to the new Ruined Castle Series its full of mystery, secrets, danger, angst, passion, intense drama, intrigue, deep emotions, twists that have you turning the pages.
Keiran Greyrose is the HEIR to the Duke of Greystone a Media Mogul in Scotland is headed to NYC to set up publicity for his brother James who is wanting to run for Prime Minister in Scotland.
Kieran sees Elka Washington a beautify ballerina who's been injured at a gala he's intrigued by her he needs a nanny for his daughter her being injured she will need work.
Kieran & Ella spend a passionate night together he can't afford any scandal it wouldn't be great for the family or James so her becoming nanny for his daughter would work perfectly.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing story following Kieran & Ella's journey you can't put this down until finished so much happens setting up for the "BEAST" the next book in "RUINED CASTLE" series I'm so looking forward to reading.

Wow! This prequel THE SINNER is another amazing work by Vivian Wood! What a teaser this is! The Sinner is Lord Kieran Greyrose and Ella Washington’s story, and if this is any indication to what their story will be, it definitely sets the tone for a mystery, suspense that is gritty and raw, and lots of tension that I definitely can’t wait to read! This short story will grab your attention from the start. This is going to be a hot, intense, and volatile story. I was captivated from start to finish—giving you just enough to draw your attention in for the upcoming books. But believe me, this will be one awesome series! If you read any of Vivian Wood’s books, you know she is giving you just enough intrigue and salaciousness, and I can’t wait to read the next book. This was a fun read, and it's such a shame that it was so short. But the good news is that there are 3 more books telling us the story of Keir and Ella. Though that's where the bad news comes in. Not all books are released, and I'm in a dilemma, should I start now? The first book is already out, and the second one comes out in a few days, but the 3rd book won't be out until 2023.
We get to meet Ella and Keir, two very interesting characters. Keir is your typical grumpy a-hole, while Ella I hope will prove to be an amazing female lead, so I can't wait to read the next books where their relationship will be more detailed. And I honestly can't wait to meet Isla, and just what kind of havoc will she bring!

Wow this prequel packs quite the punch and definitely wets our appetite for the new series by Vivian Wood. I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. This book is the prequel to the new upcoming series, Ruined Castles. We meet Kieran and Ella in this short intro into this upcoming series.
These two have instant chemistry from the first moment they meet. Kieran needs a new nanny for his young daughter, and with Ella being injured and not able to dance, she needs to find a job, quickly. This prequel definitely did it’s job! I am hooked and can’t wait for Beast to release, because now that I know how it begins, I want all of it ! I just love these two. Ella is sassy, and as arrogant as Kieran is, I see a soft side coming from him in the future. I can’t wait to see what is in store for these two ! I am ready !

Whoa!! Keir and Ella are characters in the Broken Slipper series and I'm so psyched they get their own story! Ella is trying to come to terms with never dancing with the ballet again, finding a job all while dealing with her overbearing, scheming father. Keir is in NY on business when he finds out his daughter has driven away another nanny and has been expelled again. He knows everything he and his family does could appear in the media and he can't have any scandals, but for the first time in a long time he throws caution to the wind for a night with Ella. Now that a scandal looms, his need of a nanny is the prefect cover for them. This begins their story that is sure to be packed with drama, secrets, intrigue and passion....I can't wait for the next book!!

A prequel to the new Ruined Castle Series and already my mind is making assumptions, so many directions the story can branch off to. We have Kieran Greyrose, gorgeous millionaire who has his eyes firmly set on seducing Ella Washington, but he is hiding secrets, and then we have Ella’s heartless, manipulative bully of a father who has no shame in using his daughter to get what he wants, poor Ella her head is certainly in a spin!! I can’t wait for the Beast to be released to see what the author has install for us, I’m sure there will be plenty of secrets, lies, betrayals and steamy moments to come. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.

A little taste of Kier and Ella that ended with quite a bang.
Ella Washington hoped she would have a future with the New York Ballet but an injury spoils that dream and instead she is left with an uncertainty of what her future will hold.
In comes her dad who seems to have that figured out for her, as he insists she accompnay him to a meet and greet where she meets Kier Greyrose.
These two are pushed together and what ensues is one steamy night that leads to blackmail, danger and suspense.
That leaves us wondering what will happen next.
I like that this series is linked to the Broken Slipper series - which is where we are first introduced to Kier and Ella - as that series had me hooked, so far this one does too.

I was a little disappointed with this book. The story was good, but it was incomplete. Add to that incompleteness several instances where the writing was not as well crafted as I'd expect from a published author: poorly mixed metaphors, word repetition, and proofreading errors. Some of the character interactions didn't fully make sense to me. Perhaps this was done on purpose as a means of enticing readers to get more of the story in the next book. Unfortunately, the contradictions in the characters' behavior took me out of the story rather than drawing me. Certainly, this was not the worst book I've read this year, and I did manage to finish it. However, I will not be investing more time into this series.

Keiran and Ella seem like a perfect match in terms of their personalities, and might even top Kaia and Calum from the Broken Slipper series (both of which I really loved and who have a cameo appearance) ...
This is one hϧ!l of a kick-off to the new Ruined Castle series, possibly both the steamiest and most suspenseful I've ever read, so sensual, so hot with so much chemistry that on the one hand I almost got dizzy and felt like I was standing too close to the fire and burning up, and on the other hand I'm so excited that curiosity is almost killing me. I absolutely can't wait to read more of them!

Short, but oh so sweet!!! In this prequel to the Ruined Castle series Kieran and Ella have instant heat that will make you feel scorched. They were introduced to each other by friends and another steamy couple Kaia and Calum of Vivian's Broken Slipper Series. Ella's looking for her next step after a injury sidelines her successful ballet career. Calum is in need of a au pair for his daughter, but one look at Ella and he has other ideas. This is a quick burn tale with strong personalities, and a struggle between right and wrong. She has quick wit, and he is a arrogant Lord. This taste wasn't enough I'm ready to devour the next book in the series The Beast!
