So much action! After reading The Heir, I have been anticipating this book. The King is full of action and heat! The chemistry between Saffron & Lachlan is HOT! The pace is fast and there is a lot of intrigue. The decks seem to be stacked against them as a couple & it was fabulous to see Saff and Lock hurdle them. I really liked the story & am looking forward to more stories with the other characters from the Rogues. I received an advance copy & am voluntarily leaving a review.

One incredible, visceral, fleeting night that was all Lachlan and Saffron had. They delved beyond the veneer, sharing elements of their truest selves in that idyllic moment. Imagine the shock when Saffron comes face to face with Lachlan, even more shocking he doesn't recognize her. You may not be able to catch lightning in a bottle , but NM manifested the charisma, chemistry, heat and emotion that generated between Saffron and Lachlan completely. Their coming together was a consummate claiming.
