The End Has Come and Gone Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
From Mike Talbot's journal:
"The End...has come and gone. This is the new beginning, the new world order and it sucks. The end for humanity came the moment the US government sent out the infected flu shots. My name is Michael Talbot and this is my journal. I'm writing this because no one's tomorrow is guaranteed, and I have to leave something behind to those who may follow."
So continues Mike's journey. Will he give up all that he is in a desperate bid to save his family and friends? Eliza is coming: Can anyone be prepared?

In closing: If you have any interest at all in zombies or are looking for an all around great piece of entertainment then you should really give this a shot.
The characters are totally believable and this particular hero is funny. The series is full of rich and unexpected character development as well.
The Book is written in the ever popular "hero writes a journal and sort of narrates the world around him" style. The author does break free of this from time to time and it is refreshing.
My biggest problem with narration style story telling is when the story gets tough and it looks like all is lost, as a reader you start to wonder the hero must survive because who wrote this down if he dies right now! The author takes this into account and raises the stakes throughout the book, and when all is lost he switches to another character's journal or just abandons the journal style altogether. Pay attention to the chapter names.
In conclusion, Zombie Fallout is a fun read. Do not let the reviews of bad grammar or lack of editing stop you from reading this series. I promise you will have all 6 books plus the mini book 3.5 in your kindle before you can ZOMBIES!
The Talbot gang are just trying to survive the zombie infection but Eliza has other plans. Instead of running and hiding, the Talbots decide to find her. On the way they make a few friends, make a few enemies and are always in danger of zombie attacks. Seems the zombies have learned to adapt. The climax of the story is when they rush to rescue some long lost friends. Eliza and Tomas make their appearance with several hundred zombies. Did I mention they can both control the zombies with their minds. It comes down to Mike Talbot vs. Eliza and her large mean henchman. How will Mike survive? Will this group of survivors make it out? Will cranky old Mrs. Deneaux smoke her last cigarette? You really won't see it coming so I guess you'll just have to read the book.
Just a note about the author, Mark Tufo. If you will notice all the names in the front of the book, these are some of his dedicated fans. How cool is this to have our names listed. What is even cooler is he had a contest on Facebook, yes, you can find him there. (If you like his books look him up.) He choose 4 fans and wrote them into his book as characters. And yes, I am proud to be one of the survivors. Thanks for the Uzi Mark...you are awesome. I love the back story and the set up for the next book. What are you up to Mark?
