This book is SO pretty 😍The cover feels velvety soft, and has beautiful two page illustrations for the first chapter, and one chapter illustration for the rest of the chapters. I haven't gotten to read it yet, but if this book is even half as good as it looks, I'll love it.

Man, I actually wish this book was longer! I want more of Seneca and Tyran. This is an amazing book, and I think the only things that could have made it better would be more pages and maybe a few chapters from Tyrants POV.

Definitely check the trigger warnings if you have some because parts of this do get a little dark, but it wasn't too bad, in my opinion.

The growth we get to see in Seneca is beautiful. I love how they used Tyran to strengthen her rather than having him be the strong one. They're equally strong and savage, and its fantastic to see them together.

I loved this book so much! Definite 5/5 stars. I'd give it 2/5 on spice. The scenes we do get are hot, but the story is the main focus, for sure.

Moment of complete honesty - I read this book for the cover. It is epic. Of course the summary looked interesting too, but the cover is 🤌🏻 *Chefs Kiss* 💋. I have read wolf shifter romance before, but this one was the most mature, developed storylines I’ve ever read. Seneca lives in a pack ruled by a cruel alpha. This alpha wants to claim her against her will once she gets her wolf spirit. After having lost both her parents to this Alphas cruelty, Seneca feels her only choice is to run away and live as a human. Caught by the cruel alpha, she is forced to complete the ritual of getting her wolf and then brutalized afterwards. When her pack doesn’t know is her wolf spirit is rabid. Bloodthirsty and vicious - her pack decides to banish her to a pack who has a cruel reputation as punishment. Seneca then meets this new pack and their Alpha Tyran. Nothing is what she expects. But most of her fight is within herself, as the violence she feels within herself grows and festers. This is a strong female character driven storyline. This was a gem of a find.

Ahora bien, si es posible comprar este libro por una plataforma diferente a Amazon yo lo recomendaría encarecidamente. Más que nada porque Amazon tiene un problema muy grave con enviar libros, creo que su formato no es adecuado. Este no es ni el primer ni último libro que me va a venir un poco dañado, como de costumbres, usan paquetes muy grandes que permiten que el libro este suelto y, como consecuencia los bordes y las puntas te llegan estropeados.

I do like to read Shifter stories, but this one is particularly good.

I don't often give 5 stars but this is a deserving recipient. Shouldn't really be that surprised as the authors are two well known and accomplished.

So, the story...
The MFC overcomes a great many obstacles, she basically had the worst week ever! 😯

The great thing about this story is that she overcomes and fights through her difficulties, but not without stumbling or reflection.
I especially like when she tells her Mate after HE complained she wasn't giving him a chance
" I told you what happened, you don't listen". I like that she stood up for herself, not by being difficult for no reason but, by pointing out that he's was not supportive and didn't seem to consider her feelings.
This story showed a good emotional match. Give and take.
There was action, serious situations, violence and heaps of spice🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶/5.
There was also romance, but not in the hearts and flowers sense.

I really do hope there will be more from these authors in this world.

This book was super good. I loved the emotional scenes and the vicious fighting scenes and the passion of it all. The book wasn’t perfect but the good parts were just so much better than the ‘bad’ ones. Seneca was a power to be reckoned with and I enjoyed every step on her journey. Her mate was great as well and I loved how she slowly became part of a pack and became one with her wolf. Just, overall, great story.
