Heather Lawson is an average teenager growing up in a small 1970's cattle town. She spends time with her friends and helps care for her sister. However, on her first day back to school, she notices strange things happening. When someone close to her goes missing and the town decides not to act, it falls on Heather and her friends to solve the mystery. The teens soon discover their town has a dark secret hidden just beneath their feet and something much worse lurking in the shadows.
