These 2 are in turmoil when they meet. He’s known all along who she is; she was the insignificant, naive spouse.
These two are explosive together. Their chemistry is undeniable as they fall head over heels fast. Mason holds a secret, a secret that could tear their lives apart.

I loved reading about this story. It is written well. This is book 1 of a duet.
Awful AWFUL writing & story 0/5
The manufactured drama is so farcical and unrealistic it’s not even entertaining or the least but plausible. The author writes at an elementary level: number of times she uses the phrase “asymmetrical smile” makes me want to put my fist through a wall. GET A MFing THESAURUS & AN EDITOR, JFC.
Husbands just casually murdering peeps? Then their “never held a gun b4” socialite casually doing some double homicide?
Is this written by a middle schooler with zero concept of being a communicative adult, who wrote a short story and got a participation trophy & kept going? LOL don’t waste your time & money. Run.
Hard pass.
