Really good story overall. Wish there had been more time dedicated to the characters getting to know each other and for the plot to progress. It jumped around a little with fast drama one after the other. I really loved the characters and the storyline overall, just wished it had slowed down to build more depth. Would highly recommend regardless- ends on a big cliffhanger. Can’t wait for the next book.

There were things I enjoyed about this book - It has some sexy moments, the basic idea of the story, and the overall base of the characters. The beginning of this story was great. We connected to the main character and started routing for her right out of the gate. We met some sexy guys and started to learn about them.

There were also things that left me a tad disappointed in the book. It felt disjointed and forced at times. There seemed ro be multiple different story arcs in 1 story that went by too quickly. If felt as if we finished one part and then somethingelse happened, but the flow of the story didn't mesh as well as it could have. The characters seemed to lose any growth they had. It felt as if they all regressed and forgot who they were. It went from insta lust, to insta love without any real exploration and natural progression.

I did like the book and I will probably read the next because I am genuinely curious as to what will happen. Don't get me wrong, I will be looking to see how not only the characters grow but also the author. There are some great ideas and storylines, it just needs a little more filler to help explain things, set the stage for the next event, and help the characters and their relationships grow.

I loved the concept but it sometimes it felt like important issues were just passed over very quickly. They never discussed her past and when * spoiler * they found out her wings were cut off it wasn’t a very heavily spoke up conversation just that one page. I hope they all get to talk in the next book.

A wonderful saying from LM Wilson. I have never read anything about Drakes. The female of the species is called a Spirit Drake and is extremely rare. In fact, Kalina is the last one. This story is about mates but wait until you read everything that Kalina has been through. Definitely a cliffhanger ending!

I didn't make it past a few pages. This book is extremely rushed, but what I put together is this chick seems to have zero brain cells. Her abusive ex dies and leaves her a fortune only if she marries his brother who is gay and right off the bat seems no better? And she doesn't have to marry, she can give it up but she's like that would be good to start over? Lady cut ur losses! Why would you put yourself in another bad situation? The min they said to go claim the body I would have been gone! Tstl drive me nuts! The book moved at lighting speed, I had whiplash just reading 3 pages!
