The McIntyre Security Series has long been a favorite of mine and Special Delivery is a super special addition to the series. April often revisits and updates readers on characters in subsequent books, but Special Delivery is a delicious family reunion. Each chapter is told from a different character’s point of view, giving you glimpses into their lives now and teases of what is to come. I can’t wait to see what April is plotting next, and I know it will be good. She is the queen of teasers.

This story begins with the family coming together for a Sunday meal. Beth and Shane (the main characters from several books in the series) are expecting their newest child any day now. Just as things are settling down, Beth goes into labor and the family rallies to sort everything out. After the birth, the family then decides to spend some time at Beth and Shane’s estate to celebrate the birth and support the new family and we get glimpses of where everyone is now.

I loved the snippets from each set of characters from the series and can’t wait for more. The series features a family where most work as bodyguards in a security company. All are protective of each other and love runs deep, both with characters in the family and also those who are a part of the company. It features a diverse set of characters and strong storylines that you are sure to fall in love with.

Have been waiting for this Book. This book was well worth the wait I have to say. It really was a Special Delivery of note. Hearing from all our old characters that we haven't seen in a while and having some new ones that haven't popped up in a while. What a book. I loved reading this book. I am not giving away any spoilers as I don't think you should but April Wilson your characters really come to life and you actually live in the book while reading the book. You have such a way with words. Thank you once again for delivering an excellent book. Well worth the read people.

So I was anxiously awaiting this book. As usual April didn't disappoint. While this one was very different than others in the McIntyre Security Series it is a great transitional book. I loved getting to meet Shane and Beth's baby and loved that the entire McIntyre clan was on hand in this book. Without giving away anything I can't wait for the next book in this series. Or the ones hinted at throughout this book. The biggest downside having to wait for Ms. Wilson to get them written. Any way this was a great summer read and I recommend every fan of the series not miss it.

This was an interesting story that had multiple POV's of all of the McIntyre family and friends. It was great getting caught up on everyone's lives, as well as what may be coming in the future. I'm looking forward to reading the McIntyre Search and Rescue series, which is a spin-off of this one, and the first book is going to be Hannah and Killian's story. Can't wait! I'm really hoping to see Liam get his HEA soon too, along with a few others. ;)
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

This book is like coming home. I absolutely love this series and the McIntyre Clan with their extended family, who I fell in love with from book 1. Having everyone together and getting their POV’s is epic.

I’m absolutely loving the POV’s of characters who’ve yet to get their own book, you get the feeling there are some fantastic stories to come, after getting a teasing glimpse of them.

This one is truly special!!

Beth and Shane get the safe arrival of baby number two (no spoilers 😏). Shane’s as protective as ever and shows his emotions for the family’s he’s now got, which is so endearing. But things don’t go as smoothly as they had hoped.

We get to see both the kick ass girls in action when they go out for the night, and we also see the men being the fierce protectors they are.

We have a shocking surprise from Lia and Jonah which was brilliant, I sat reading with a big smile, big news for Molly and Jamie too.

Having an insight into Haley and Philip, Hannah and Killian and then Liam makes for some great reading, it’s killing me I need their books so bad.

April’s sure done it again luring us into the this world, every book you read leaves you reveling and wanting more for other characters in books to come, I just friggin love it.

I've read this series about 10 times and am always eager for more!

As usual April hasn't disappointed with the latest installment, the next book cannot come soon enough (no pressure April! Lol). As usual when finished a book in this series I'm left wondering if it's too soon to start re-reading the series again?

This book was slightly different to previous as it wasn't specifically focused on two main characters as previous bookshelves been. I really enjoyed hearing from both the older much loved more established characters, as well as the new voices of those who have been on the periphery in the past books (and hopefully who we will hear from in the future).
I recommend this book to everyone but definitely start at the beginning of the series, you will soon fall in love with all the characters.
Nothing to dislike about this book or series apart from it ended too quickly (cos once I start reading I can't stop). September is so far away for the next book!
