THE INSPIRING SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER'Fearne Cotton is a tireless seeker of the truth, and a wonderful communicator of sanity, hope, and (most refreshingly of all) reality. This is, simply put, a beautiful book.' Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love and Big Magic'During a time where misinformation is spreading faster than ever and people are finding it hard to keep it real, Fearne shows us the power of living in our truth. She has a magical way of making us feel understood through her compelling storytelling, while showing us a path to a more authentic life.' Vex King, author of Good Vibes, Good Life'This book is going to help a lot of people.' Philippa Perry, author of The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read'We need truth talkers more than we ever have right now. Wild, bold, connected truth talkers. Fearne takes our hand and shows us how to be one by treading the wild, vulnerable path first.' Sarah Wilson, author of First, We Make the Beast Beautiful Fearne Cotton's voice is familiar to millions, whether that's through television, radio or on her hugely successful Happy Place podcast. Her voice is her career, her livelihood and the way she communicates with her audience and her loved ones. So, when Fearne's doctor told her she was at risk of needing a throat operation followed by two weeks of being unable to speak, she found herself facing a period of unexpected contemplation. As she considered what silence would mean, Fearne began to think about other times her voice had gone unheard - as a young woman, as 'just the talent', as the foil to louder, more dominant figures

Mental health advocate, best-selling author, long-standing broadcaster and founder and creator of the Happy Place brand, Fearne Cotton has been thoughtfully curating and building her Happy Place community since 2017.

Born out of sharing her own experiences with happiness and publishing her Sunday Times and silver Nielsen bestseller Happy in 2017, the brand has evolved and translated into her award-winning podcast Happy Place (with over 100m downloads), the annual Happy Place Festival which launched in 2019, the book imprint Happy Place Books in 2021, the Happy Place app in 2022, and the most recent addition to the portfolio, her Sky Kids animation show My Friend Misty, which was released in 2023. Fearne’s most recent book Little Things, which published in January 2024, was another Sunday Times Bestseller and further cemented Fearne’s position as a celebrated author with all titles available in 12 different languages around the world. Excitingly, Fearne will be releasing her debut fiction novel Scripted, in June 2024.

Fearne is innately passionate about driving forward the notion of a relatable, straight-forward and inclusive approach to self-care, and through her work with Happy Place, has actively opened up, encouraged and demystified the wider conversation around mental health.

Fearne is a mother of two, and step-Mother of two, and is an active supporter for a range of charities – most notably mental health charity Mind, The Prince’s Trust and Coppafeel!, the latter of which she curates the charity’s music festival, Festifeel. Fearne is a supporter of the Princess of Wales #ShapingUs early childhood campaign, aiming to raise awareness of the vital role our early years play in shaping the rest of our lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another beautiful, delicate, book by the amazing fearne cotton
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 5, 2021
Having now read all of her books. it didn't suprise me that this was another lovely, beautiful book, full of inspiration, straight talking experience, and pure care for the reader.

whats great about fearne is she puts you in the palm of her hand and talks to you, from her own experiences, which you can relate too but she writes in such a compelling way, that you feel drawn in and always interested in what she is saying, this book in particular, makes her tell her real truth due to a health problem, so she has used this as inspiration to speak out to her fans and readers, to show compassion and willingness to be open and honest and that's what makes her so lovely and inspirational.

i have loved all of her books, there isn't anything you don't get or understand, it's just her talking straight from the heart and out to the world.

if you haven't owned any of her books as of yet then I suggest you purchased them all ASAP! you will not be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars So honest and relatable
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on March 19, 2022
I just wish Fearne could know how relatable this book is on so many levels. Your honesty and insecurities laid bare help me to identify with you and the subject of speaking your truth. I've reflected on so many areas of my life and like you, feel I'm always going to be work in progress but just today, I'm OK with that. X

5.0 out of 5 stars An Honest and Digestible Reflection
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 10, 2021
I loved the simplicity and ease of this book. As we enter into almost a year of on and off lockdown I have read my fair share of books. But, recently I have found the heaviness that resides in many spiritual books inaccessible to my low lockdown concentration. This book was a breath of fresh air. It was real, honest and digestible. Whilst it wasn't overly groundbreaking in its concepts, I appreciated how Fearne was able to balance the everyday world with speaking truth. I related to her authenticity and enjoyed that there was no 'preaching', but instead just recognition that we are all human on this journey. A beautifully simply read.
