Not a bad board, but there are some poor design choices

Not a bad board, but there are some poor design choices
Good board - very light and fast. However, a couple of things are not thought through. Most prominently, the black logo on the bottom surface heats up in the sun when carried on top of a car, and bubbles off (see picture). So far, when the board cools down, it returns back to normal, but I am worried it will peel off permanently. For those of y'all beginners trying to decide between this and wavestorm, here's a summary of differences (from my noob 's perspective, having handled both my guppy and friends' wavestorm).1. Weight. Guppy is quite a bit lighter, so it goes faster, and is also easier to carry (and believe me, as a beginner, you'll be carrying the board around plenty)2. Surface. Guppy requires waxing and is really slippery without it; wavestorm does not. Dirt and sand tends to get stuck to wax, and looks ugly on white stripes. In contrast, the wavestorm pattern looks pretty clean even after reasonable amount of use.3. Design choices. Guppy has a handle hole, which, together with small weight, makes carrying almost a breeze. But the handle balances the board without fins, and with them, the handle is just a little too far forward for comfortable carrying. In contrast, wavestorm has a tail pad for yet better rear foot friction, which is also handy for learning where you rear foot is supposed to go when you stand up.
