After reading this sweet, angsty romance i find myself wondering why I haven’t read more by the very talented Willow Winters maybe it’s because I associate her with dark and gritty romances. Well I’m going to be looking back through works to find more like this small town, second chance romance. This is single mum Magnolia and Brody’s journey and it’s a journey that wouldn’t be complete without her ex Robert being in the picture. I’m so glad this was put together in one read because book one, Tequila Rose which is an insight into how Magnolia and Brody met and how one passionate night changed their life’s finished on one mighty cliiffhanger while book 2, Autumn Night Whiskey gives us Roberts side of the story as we watch these three struggling with the love they feel for each other. This is an emotional yet entertaining read, it’s so much more than just a romance, it’s a journey that at times is rocky. Tequila Rose Ever since reading Then You Kissed Me, the prelude to this story, I was looking forward to this book! Willow has written such a sweet story and I loved all the characters. I totally forgot that this book is part of a duet and was so sad when it ended because I want more! There is a bit of a love triangle and I cannot wait to see how it turns out. I'm pretty sure who I favour, but at the same time I feel a bit conflicted and normally I don't feel that way, there is always a clear winner. So, this makes me even more anxious to read Autumn Night Whiskey! Another fabulous book by Willow! Autumn Night Whiskey This book broke me. I don't think I've ever felt so conflicted between two men while reading a story. I thought I had my decision made by the end of Tequlia Rose, then Willow had to go throw a wrench into everything and destroy what I thought I felt. The gut wrenching emotions I felt while reading made me feel like I myself was Magnolia, having to break my own heart. This book was beautiful and heartfelt and I loved every moment of it. What an amazing ending to this duet. I hope we see more of these characters in the future because they all deserve their own story and I need more!

I could not put it down and read it in one sitting. Willow always knows how to just pull a person into the story. I felt like I was there and could feel all that Magnolia is feeling. She had a very hard time 4 years ago. Robert is the boy who broke up with her while she was in college. Brody is the man she had a one-night stand with after Robert broke up with her. She is very shocked when she sees Brody after all these years. Brody wants another chance with her, complete with dates Willow brought the feels, the angst, everything really. She also gives that shocking information that leaves you wide eyed and saying, “omg!” Autumn Night Whiskey: This was so good and is the second and final part of Brody, Magnolia and Robert. You will find out the answer that Mags gave after Robert’s question at the end of Tequila Rose. This is a love triangle that is filled with love, angst, so many feels and some hard truths. Willow ripped my heart open with this book. There were parts that just broke me and made my heart hurt and there were others that made my heart burst with happiness. Mags loves two men and needs to make a decision on who she loves more. Who will she pick? Who is the father of Bridget? You need to have a box of tissue because this will bring out #TheFeels. Willow knows how to do that perfectly. I loved this duet and can’t wait to read Asher and Bri’s story. Find a quiet place and snuggle down with a glass of wine and enjoy.
