We haven't had a chance to play yet because this is a Christmas gift for my son.  But he LOVES playing Chess and this looks like a fun way to play using some of his favorite characters.

I was hesistant to spend so much on a chess game when we already have a few, but this one has been such a fun way to mix it up! Pieces seem to be good quality and should last a long time.

Very cool chess set.   It really does make me want to play chess more!  I have always loved Mario games.  Having one side Mario and the other bowser is perfect.

bought this a Christmas present. the characters look great! i like how the bad guys are on one side and the good guys are the other side. also think its cool how Luigi is the queen! fun little twist that my kids loved!

i got this for my 14 year old son as a christmas present. he loves chess and especially after this years mario brother movie i figured i cant go wrong.

My 8 year old loves Mario Bros. and has many figures and stuffed animals. So when he saw this chess game at Barnes and Noble he wanted to buy it with his birthday money. They wanted $50!!! I convinced him to wait and let me check on line and boy was he glad because Walmart had it for only $30 and I picked it up at the store for free! This game is very sturdy, has great game pieces, and is a great way to introduce a child to chess. It is great to see him using his brain and not just his fingers, as he does on the video games!

Love the concept and design. Really fun way to get a kid excited about chess. Bad guys against good guys gives the game a twist, and Luigi is a queen. Who knew? :)

Love the product itself. The shipping box was destroyed and the product box itself was not handled well. Had rips on it. Disappointed in the care Walmart used.

On the day the game was suppose to arrive, it never did. Only part of my order did. The rest had to be canceled. Unfortunately the Super Mario Chess game was one of the items that needed to be canceled.

never got my order.filled out a claims form with the carrier but havent heard anything since.Had to go to the store to buy a other one which was more pricey in the store.
