To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Perfect tip in my opinion; spray pattern not too narrow so that it creates runs all over the place, and not so wide that it requires million passes over an area to get it covered. If you are using a paint gun to paint random rooms in your house, go with this tip and you will not be disappointed.
I cannot believe how much better these fine finish tips work than the regular tip that comes with the graco x7 I have. With the 515 "standard" tip, I found it almost impossible to get no "tails" when I was spraying (even though I got it to be acceptable, the perfectionist in me was still not pleased). With this tip I immediately found a great setting that sprays evenly and very minimal "splatters" (way lower pressure than I was needing to get a decent spray pattern with the other tip). Currently using this to paint the doors in our house with latex primer and paint and I am so pleased with how they are turning out. No clog issues or anything even though it's slightly thicker than what would be recommended for this tip size. I will never use anything but an FFLP tip again, no matter if I'm painting walls or trim or anything else. Theoretically, it should last longer than the other cheaper tips due to being able to spray at a much lower pressure and not getting as much wear per use. Worth the extra cost for sure, in my opinion. Just make sure you get the proper tip guard for this, it needs a different sized one than the tip that comes with your sprayer. It needs the RAC X tip guard, which looks almost the exact same but it has a different sized opening for this tip and is blue.
Great tip it's a must have if you want to paint anything that requires a smooth glass like look. They won't tell you this or even mention it in the instruction manual for a Graco airless sprayer. A former professional painter mentioned it to me and I'm forever grateful.
These tips are amazing. Used correctly: they produce better results with less paint & minimal to zero overspray depending on how good you are with a spray gun.
