This book doesn't disappoint
An outcast finally finds her place. Or does she? When Landra earns a place back in her society, she is desperate to make it through warrior training. She dreams it will redeem her in her father's and brother’s eyes. With everything that Landra has been through so far, being back in training should be a piece of cake, right?Wrong. Jethra is in turmoil. The ever tenuous relationship between the templers and the warriors is crumbling. Her superiors and classmates seem determined to see Landra fail. Her girlhood crush, Bex, is now her supervisor. And Thisk? When has anything with Thisk ever been easy?Landra doesn’t know whom to trust and as tensions rise, she must fight for her world and her life. There is so much more I want to say about this book, but there would be too many spoilers. I was so happy to be back on Jethra in Landra’s world. Landra grows up and comes into her own. A Question of Soul delivers in terms of action and suspense, plus it answers all of the questions from the first two books. In my opinion, this is the best book of the Society’s Soul trilogy. That said, I’m crossing my fingers for another book in the series because I can’t wait to see what happens to Landra next.Just trust me - this book doesn’t disappoint.

Landra’s earlier training had her thoroughly resenting the fact that she was ordered to change her future by someone she truly trusted. In following those orders, she also finds a lost friend, learns how much Bex truly means to her, and faces the awful truth about her people’s divided status. Can she even shoulder her necessary future? And how is she to pursue it? The answers change her further than she could possibly imagine, in line with Thisk forcing her to stretch beyond her “limits.”

As usual, this author never ceases to awe me. In a stunning work, she addresses Landra's continued growth into a wonderful leader and the difficulties posed to Landra's reentry into the society she loved so much. Amanda Twigg's artful descriptions and thoughtful character building help us empathize with Landra and root for her. Totally recommend this wonderful work!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great finale to a wonderful series

We can only imagine how much hard work went into writing the series but we are so glad that it did. It’s been a wonderful series to read, consistently gripping and full of great character development. We’ll miss the series but are glad that the final instalment was as great as all of the others. We look forward to seeing what this author does next.
