Customers like the taste of the culinary salt. They say it's great for bringing out the flavor in dull foods, has almost no taste at all, and is a great seasoning for Asian style cuisine. The heat from cooking makes the flavor explode. It's also eggy, but to some customers it'll be pure umami bliss.

I honestly couldn’t tell the difference with and without. My hubby really wanted to try it, and we read strawberries are the best with it, but it just tasted like strawberries with salt. I added to food and same thing.
Not sure how to describe MSG to someone who’s never had it…it’s the reason you can’t make Asian noodles and stir fry at home “like they do at the restaraunt”. This stuff is powdered umami. Put it on anything and it enhances the flavor. I put it on pastas, stir frys, egg salad. I haven’t yet cooked with it, I only add it last on the plate. Not sure if I’m doing that right or not. Plain white rice, little oyster sauce, dash of MSG, little sriracha…so good. I’m using it sparingly because of the negative health connotations, but it’s difficult to not put this on everything.
MSG is amazing. It enhances the flavor of everything. I have no idea why a taboo came to exist about using it in cooking, but I often just sub it for salt. People compliment my food "wow how did you get so much flavor?" yeah MSG, you should have some in your house.
We bought this after watching a YouTube video about MSG and how it can be used well in culinary applications. The video also taught us that MSG isn’t as “bad” for you as our culture currently claims it is (in moderation). We’ve added just a dash to savory recipes in moderation and it really kicks the savory yumminess up a notch.
MSG is my secret weapon in the kitchen! As a chef, I appreciate its ability to elevate flavors and add that irresistible umami kick to any dish. It's a shame that it's been unfairly stigmatized. I've introduced so many skeptics to its magic, and they're always amazed—some describe it as 'eggy,' but to me, it's pure umami bliss. More MSG for me, and I'm not sorry about it!
I was a bit skeptical about using MSG at first but looked it up and did a bit of research and didn't really see any problems unless it was a huge amount infested but small amounts, no issues.
