As a fan of both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and video games, I couldn't wait to get my hands on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Deluxe Edition for PlayStation 5. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

From the moment I started playing, I was completely immersed in the world of the Guardians of the Galaxy. The graphics are stunning, with vibrant colors and detailed character models that make you feel like you're right there with Star-Lord and the gang.

But what really sets this game apart is the story. It's not just a rehash of the movies or comics - it's a completely original, standalone adventure that takes the Guardians to new and unexpected places. The writing is top-notch, with hilarious quips and heartfelt moments that really make you care about the characters.

Speaking of characters, the game's version of the Guardians is spot-on. Each member of the team has their own distinct personality and playstyle, and it's a blast to switch between them in combat. I especially loved playing as Rocket, blasting enemies with his trusty guns and setting traps with his gadgets.

The combat itself is fast-paced and satisfying, with a good mix of ranged and melee attacks. The game also has a neat "huddle" mechanic, where you can rally the team and give them a boost of morale (and health). It's been a long time since I've had such a great experience with a game. I don't think I was expecting much out of this game other than "it looks cool", but I was wrong. It is a trip to memory lane when games were amazing without online features and microtransactions.

Really good story (considering it's a marvel/superhero story), amazing graphics, sound, characters that actually feel like you're watching a movie, not a game, with intricate emotions, face animations, body language, etc...

I feel combat might be a little repetitive after a while, but there are so many other things that are completely unrelated to combat that in my opinion, it doesn't matter if the fights look similar when those fights happen so far away from each other.

Bottom line, I'm really impressed with this game, and I wish more studios released games like this.

Just a linear, one player story which is kinda hard to find now but with chooses that still leave it a little open ended. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, the soundtrack was amazing ( obviously) , the combat was surprisingly fun , and it looks beautiful , your chooses also have a pretty big impact on certain missions. All and all if you like guardians or are just looking for a good old linear single player experience definitely check this game out.

So I bought this because it was on sale for $50 I got the deluxe edition adding my first steelbook into my collection but then oh boy I load up the game and its just beautiful and I spent Thanksgiving and Black Friday all day flying through the game such a brilliant game a amazing fast paced gameplay stunning graphics and a kick a** soundtrack 10/10 GOTY Approved if you like any other modern superhero game you will definitely enjoy this.
