You just knew that from the other stories that there was more to Ariel than what you could see from the few glimpses of her. Now. NOW, we get her story and it was so worth every single page turned. It was so worth every time we meet her in the past (books). I going to tell you right now that I want so badly to give this one a five star rating, but the only is that I cant go higher on the next and final installment. This was such a good read. It had me on the edge of my seat. Turning pages. I going to tell you when I started I was just going to do five chapters to get me read for the next day to jump right back in to things. It didn't work out that way. I was on full speed ahead. I turned page after page and then I was done. I so a ready for the next installment.

Ariel has always been there for her friends so it is about time she got her own story and of course it is full of deception, lies, laughter and near death experiences! There is a lot of history between Ariel and Prince Tristan and neither got past their young love but the last thing Ariel wanted was to see him but yeah now she is stuck with him and that is causing a whole lotta drama. You will not put this book down wants you start and yeah you will let out a frustrated sigh when it finishes but you should be use to it by now and at least there isn't too long to wait for the next book. 😉

I was given an ARC to review. Let me just say that Ms. Malone has outdone herself this time. I have been dying to learn Ariel's story and this first book did not disappoint. There is excitement, intrigue, angst, love and mystery. I love the bickering and sexual tension between the two main characters. Between the bickering on who should protect who and who is behind the mystery attacks, this book kept me guessing. This book does have a cliffhanger, but it also gives you just enough of a morsel to not drive you insane while waiting for the next book. Just kidding, I'm dying for the next book to come out!
