The lens itself is a little heavy, but I like that, because I shoot 99% of the time handheld. All those shots are handheld, so they might be a little soft. The focus ring is easy to use (it's pretty wide) and very smooth. The build of the lens seems solid and I have no complaints. I'm planning on using it for portrait photography as soon as I can because I think it will give nice bokeh for those shots as well. The lens came with a bag and lens cap of course, and instruction manual that I just tossed aside.
The only con (if you can call it that) is that it doesn't auto-focus, but I knew that when I bought it. Other than that minor thing, I love the lens so far. I can't wait to try it on a human subject. My overall first impression was that it's amazing and would make a great addition to anyone's lens arsenal.

In my opinion Rokinon is the first lens where I have felt that the glass was as good as Nikon's. Moreover, the lack of an auto focusing motor makes for a lighter lens.

Pros:
* Tack sharp at all apertures
* Silky, buttery smooth bokeh
* Macro functionality is absolutely wonderful
* Color rendition is very well done.
* No fringing or CA whatsoever
But it's not without its faults. They are minor and aren't related to the wonderful optics, IMO, but they are worth mentioning
Cons:
* The provided lens hood is a joke. It will not stay in place and fall off on its own.
* The aperture ring is very jaggy and unsubtle
* It's rather heavy and long (relative to the size of an X-E2 body), so don't expect this to be your walk-about/candid workhorse lens.
Overall, though, Samyang/Rokinon have done a fantastic job with this lens. If you are looking for a decently fast, ~150mm (Fuji equivalent) prime for a fair price, this lens should be in your top-3 shopping list.
Lens is fully manual. I set it in Ap Priority mode and adjust the Fstop and focus myself on my Sony A7Rii. It can be tough to use if you have never used a manual focus lens before but it's easy to get the hang of.
