Product Description

Prevent clogged shower drains with the LEKEYE Shower Stall Drain Protector.

This rust-proof stainless steel Drain Protector sits flat on shower stall drains so it doesn’t get in the way. The hole pattern effectively catches hair without blocking water drainage.

A silicone rim keeps the Drain Protector in place and prevents it from sliding around.

I use one of these in each shower and it really works well. Sometimes my foot will move it a little, but it is easy to put right back. After having a clogged drain & having to remove hair from the drain with tweezers, (the smell was horrid), this is much needed & does the job. Even passed the test with the husband. I also use one in the bathroom sink where I brush my hair. Seems to fit any size drain very well.

Simple product, and $7 seemed like a lot for this teeny thing, but it does its job. Well worth the money to no longer have to worry about all the hair that got through the larger holes in the built-in shower drain, which caused clogs regularly. This catches nearly everything, and though I still have to remove the hair a couple times a shower, it's super easy.

I wish there were more size options, because the drain we wanted to cover was 3" wide, but this one turned out to be close enough. (Anything larger than 4" wouldn't have had a place to sit flat in our shower, and the next size up everywhere seemed to be 4.25-4.5".)

It rests loosely on top of the drain, but surprisingly stays put and collects the hair. I had a screen before, but the fiber was so close that it collected unnecessary small lint etc., became clogged and decreased the flow of water. The holes in this screen are just right to collect hair and keep a good water flow. Very easy to lift and clean.

I am puzzled by those who are unhappy with hair blocking the cover and slowing down the drainage of water. A ton of hair IS going to do that!! There is NO way to completely eliminate that!!! However, drain blockage, due to hair collecting above it, can be REDUCED. This drain cover’s dome shape helps keep the top open, and this gives the raised water level a way todrain, that is, if you have a well flowing drain.

I bought this to prevent hair from passing into the drain, and that it does, well. I didn’t rate the, “suction power,” because a drain cover has no suction power, nor does the drain! The cover does affect the flow rate of water from the tub/shower into the drain, but not hardcore. That being said, I have a very open drain pipe/the tub drains very quickly.

It sits on top of your drain. There’s no suction or anything holding it in place. It catches half of my very long hair. The rest I catch, or it just slips through the holes. It does not catch my pit mix’s short double coat at all when I bathe her. I expected this though. Just needed to make an attempt at catching my hair.
