Siera was held prisoner and going to be sold by her gambling step father until she escaped and got to her father's best friend, Colt an ex Ranger. This was dramatic and intense but the romance of the story took over and made it a wonderful and inspirational story. I love Colt who had been through so much but he wanted her. The protective side of his nature came out, proud and strong. It was great to read about. This was a great book and one I really admire. I received a free copy of this

I completely fell in love with Sierra and Colt. This was such a wonderful book! I enjoyed both drawing each other out. Sierra is Colt’s best friend’s daughter, unfortunately Sierra’s father died in action. While he was dying, Colt promised to watch over Sierra. Sierra has been through so much and finally gets her chance to reach out to Colt. He’s surprised to see her but recognizes that she needs help.
