About this ebook

In all the years I loved Joshua Luca, he never knew it. My infatuation with him led to some stupid decisions, so I swore off my teenage crush and forgot about him.

But our mums are still best friends and when I’m forced back to London, without me knowing, they arrange for me to stay with him.

Joshua hasn’t lost his swagger, his charm or those oh-so-perfect lips that I’ve imagined kissing so many times. He takes me under his wing, helps me flat-hunt and even coaches me through some dates.

Until his coaching starts to feel a lot like actual dating and my crush is back with a vengeance.

I know that loving Joshua leads to disaster but I can’t help but wonder whether the way he looks at me has changed and whether when we kiss, it feels as real to him as it does to me.

A stand-alone romance.

What others are saying about Louise Bay:

"I have no hesitation in yelling from the roof tops - I loved it! I love how this book is a slow burn but the smoldering chemistry was spot on."

"Likable characters, insanely electric chemistry, and adding just the right amount of spice to her romances! MR. PARK LANE made me smile, laugh, swoon, and my bookish heart so very happy. Five stars."

"I adored Hartford and Joshua’s book!! A selfless doctor and a self made business man that knew each other when they were young. Swoon!! Older brothers best friend (check) secret crush (check) all grown up and pretty much opposites. I highly recommend this!!"

Mr. Park Lane is all about Joshua Luca. While growing up, Joshua's best friend Patrick Kent developed his flirting skills with Thea; Hartford was too young. Hartford, the youngest of three children being four years Joshua's junior. Hartford had a major crush, and some might say an obsession until one night changed her life and her infatuation. She wanted to become a ballerina, but she became a doctor, and when she returned home, Joshua was there to pick her up at the airport. This story is about old friends, loyalty, honesty, and being your authentic self.

Hartford and Joshua have a sweet and steamy story which was a quick devour. They start with the background story of Hartford having been obsessed with Joshua since she was a teen. Circumstances and life happen and then they are reunited. Their story has a sweet build up, some holy hot steam, and then a great little career story in there too. I love how Hartford was forced to "start living" per her supervisor. Joshua was a great character in that he wasn't an overbearing alpha but definitely strong with a soft side. This story has a great flow to it and definitely keeps the reader's attention with the secondary characters and the career story line.

4 star Review Mr. Park Lane (The Mister Series #4) by Louise Bay Joshua and Hartford have history until he disappeared when Hartford was seventeen. All it took was one night to change the course of her future. Now twelve years later he is back in her life and is her new roommate. What will happen when the lines are blurred and they cross the line? Hartford was convinced she was over him, until she was forced to move in with him and she found that the chemistry is just as intense and heated. Both Joshua and Hartford are independent, strong characters and I found them likeable and easy to relate to. Hartford made me smile, she’s feisty, sassy and I could easily see her as a friend. I loved both Hartford and Joshua, separately and particularly as a couple, their connection was intense and you could feel the air sizzle between them. Not only that but I really loved how Joshua looked after her and encouraged her; a totally swoon worthy man. Their journey from friends to lovers was heart warming and as he encouraged her to be the best that she could be I fell more and more for him. Mr. Park Lane is a well written, entertaining book that will leave you will a smile on your face.
