Can't stay connected to Smartthings

Can't stay connected to Smartthings
Update 10/19/20: I downgraded these sensors to 1 star. Both the motion and vibration sensors cannot stay connected to Smartthings, despite repeatedly adding them back. New batteries did not help, they don't last a day before having to delete and add them again. These are too much of a hassle. These can be challenging to integrate with Smartthings. Below is my experience and solution to adding them:Step 1 - add the device handlers for each sensor in the Smartthings Groovy IDEI added these devices to my Smartthings hub (v2) by grabbing the code for the device handlers for each sensor on github published by user bspranger (ArstenA in the Smartthings community forum). Once I created and published bspranger's handlers in my account in IDE, I started pairing mode by long pressing the reset button on the sensors, then adding the devices in the Smartthings Classic app on my Android phone (i.e. "add a thing").Step 2 - Pairing sensors using Smartthings Classic appThe motion sensor took a few tries until pairing was successful. By long pressing the reset button, waiting for 3 quick blinks, and then short pressing reset, I was able to pair the motion sensor. The vibration sensors were much more difficult and required pressing the reset button repeatedly every few seconds for several minutes. After several minutes of short pressing reset, a red error banner popped up which actually turned out to be a good thing. After the error, I exited the "add a thing" tab, went back into "add a thing" and the sensor showed up immediately. Another snag was that pairing a second vibration sensor knocked off the first sensor and I had to re-pair the first sensor all over again. Fortunately, both were successfully added after a lot of patience and persistence. It took me about 30 minutes to get the vibration sensors integrated and just a few minutes to integrate the motion sensor.Sensor function:The vibration sensors are very sensitive and responsive. They can be set to low, medium and high sensitivity. They also report tilt in addition to vibration. The motion sensor is very small and sensitive. I had to place it up high and pointed upwards to avoid being triggered by my cat. It works great in my bathroom to automate the lights and I love how tiny it is.Rating:So far, I'm giving these sensors 5 stars despite the difficulties I had pairing them to Smartthings. The low price is amazing and the super tiny form factor is very impressive. The sensors have a nice, quality feel to them. I can't blame the manufacturer when their intent was for these sensors to be used with their own hub. They seem to work really well and I have the Smartthings community to thank, especially bspranger, for providing the code and instructions for integrating these devices. Admittedly, this is not for the novice smart home user.I will update this review after having used these sensors for a few months.
