Blue Spruce Toolworks new one-piece Sharpening Square. Most squares are too large to be used with the tool in a honing guide. The compact design of the new Blue Spruce Sharpening Square usually allows you to check the chisel or plane iron while it’s still in the guide, saving you time and effort. And, as one solid piece of stainless steel, water, oil and dross just wipe right off.
Unmatched machining accuracy. This corrosion resistant stainless steel square is cut in a wire EDM machine. If you’re not familiar with the term, Wire EDM is a non-contact machining process using an electrically charged tiny wire and insulating fluid to make remarkably accurate cuts. We’ve designed the profile with relief cuts in the bevels, protecting the edge while still giving you an accurate reading. And, we made the square just 3/32" thick so it’s easier to get proper alignment.
