Bradford Bastard Audible Audiobook – Unabridged

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 2,429 ratings

There are three things I know for sure.

One, hot wax on the coochie ain’t for everybody.

Two, diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend—tampons are.

And three, Tanner Morgan is an asshole.

I’m sure if I hadn’t spilled beer all over him and gave a subtle suggestion of where he could shove his best friend’s dick, perhaps we would have started out on a better note. How was I supposed to know that the dude was the captain of Bradford Private’s precious football team? I had just witnessed my boyfriend three inches deep inside some random girl. Surely you can't blame a girl for word vomit after such a traumatic experience.

King Jock meant nothing to me. He was just some self-important asshole I was never going to see again. At least, that’s what I thought.

When my mom came home and told me we were moving in with her rich-prick boyfriend and his perverted son, I was pissed.

When she enrolled me in Bradford Private and said there wasn’t a damn thing I could do about it, I was furious.

But when I found out that Tanner Morgan was my brand-new motorcycle-riding neighbor, I was screwed.

Nobody gets away with insulting the King of Bradford Private, and because of that, I just became Tanner Morgan’s most exhilarating game. He won’t stop until I’ve turned to ashes beneath his feet, but unfortunately for him, playing him at his own game just became my newest obsession.

Bradford Bastard is an M/F enemies-to-lovers high school contemporary romance series. It contains explicit sexual content, sexual abuse, graphic violence, drug abuse, and coarse language. This series is recommended for mature listeners.

Tanner Morgan—ten out of ten, highly recommended!
There are three things I know for sure. The sky is blue, the grass is green and Sherdian Anne knows how to write a BAD*$$ female character! These characters, this story, that f****** cliffhanger - GAH!!!I was laughing uncontrollably by page 3 and had to tell anyone who would listen how freaking hilarious the "great lip incident of ninth grade" was. Way to suck me in from the start!Brielle (aka Killjoy or Killer) and Tanner's story has a ton going on in the best way. They definitely play games with each other and they're entertaining! Their pull towards each other is palpable.I. CAN'T. EVEN. WAIT. for book 2!Favorite Spoiler Free Quotes:“Don’t make me knee you in the balls,” I warn him. “It’s a cheap shot, but trust me when I tell you, I am not above taking it.”“I’ve seen how easily you drop a guy, Killer. You’re brutal. You’re not the kind to sit back and take it. If someone swings at you, you swing back with twice as much force.”She f****** played me just as I was trying to do to her, but unlike never before, she bested me, and I don’t know whether to fall to her knees and worship her or make her pay.Tanner Morgan—ten out of ten, highly recommended.

This book was good.... It caught my attention right from the beginning.... Brielle is a strong female character and doesn't take crap from anyone, not even Tanner, and he tries to make her life hard.... I don't only like them but I like all the friends too, they all seem to have a bond, I just wish they all got a book so I could read more about them....

I always get so excited for a new Sheridan Anne book and Bradford Bastard is my new favorite! I couldn't put it down. I inhaled this book. Love the female character Brielle. She takes no crap and will put any guy in his place. I was here for all of her and Tanner moments. These two had mad chemistry that sizzled off of the pages. Tanner is the bad alpha popular guy in school. He is trying to keep it together while his sister is fighting for her life. This story is exciting, steamy and left me with a jaw dropping cliffhanger. I cannot wait for book 2. So many questions that I need answers to. I can't express how much I loved this book.

An enemies to lovers, sports romance involving Brielle, a confident woman from the wrong side of the tracks, and Tanner, the star football player with anger issues. Brielle and Tanner are at odds with each other from the moment that they meet. Their version of foreplay was tearing each other’s heads off, and I loved it. There is slight bullying that takes place, but honestly, Brielle gives as good as she gets from Tanner - if not better. She definitely doesn’t let Tanner get away with anything. I look forward to seeing how their dynamic grows as the story continues.

This book definitely captivated me from the beginning. I am an absolute sucker for drama, and this book had loads of it. There are so many things going on besides Brielle and Tanner’s budding relationship. Learning how everything was connected made it hard for me to put the book down. Definitely a good, angsty read.

I don't even know how to start this review, but I can completely blown away. I started this book and intention of it just being 1 of those bully romances and the guy likes to girl the girl likes to guy and they fight and then they get together and then everything is okay and then they break up and start all over again. What happen there is excess in it there's WiFi friends there is best friends there is new schools there just everything... I was not expecting this at all. I don't even know if I really wanna get into the story line I I have to tell you ends on a clinger which I never expected. I never expected what happened at the last 75% of this book to happen. I am completely blown away with the change of the events that occurred through out the book. I absolutely love the characters, I even like Derek characters that are mean and ... pushing everybody's buttons and doing harmful things to people. There is triggers But you don't read about them. Just know there was a lot of bad that came into this book and how this ends I'm going right to the second book cause I need to know what happened. I love the writing of the book I am thoroughly engaged in the book and I am so invested on what happens to everyone in the book . With all that being said this was my 1st time reading this author and I love her and I can't wait to read another book.

Let me start by saying.. Although this is no where NEAR a romcom.. I was laughing out loud within the first two chapters. The banter between Erica and Brielle was hilarious. I also now fear home waxing. 😂

“𝙽𝚘𝚠, 𝙸 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙸’𝚖 𝚍𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝙸 𝚐𝚘𝚘𝚐𝚕𝚎𝚍 𝚟𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚘𝚘 𝚍𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚜 𝚘𝚗 𝚖𝚢 𝚠𝚊𝚢 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚙𝚞𝚕𝚕 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘𝚐𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛.”

Bradford Bastards started with a BANG.. Brielle finds her boyfriend in bed with another woman and breaks up with him immediately.. well after she compliments the other woman’s *ahem* ✨assets✨and takes a photo. She’s done. In a fit of rage and humiliation she tries to flee the party.. only she bumps into Tanner. Who knew one spilled beer would start a epic prank war?

“𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚍𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚜𝚘 𝚗𝚎𝚛𝚟𝚘𝚞𝚜?”

“𝙱𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚒𝚐 𝚋𝚊𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚕𝚏 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚋𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚘𝚍𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚎, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙸’𝚖 𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚝𝚛𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚍𝚎𝚌𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚒𝚏 𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚢 𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚐𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚘𝚛 𝚗𝚘𝚝.”

Brielle comes home after the party and realizes everything is changing. She’s moving in with her moms new boyfriend and his creeper son.. AND going to private school. The cherry on top of the sundae.. who is her next door neighbor? Tanner- the player alphahole she loves to hate.

𝚂𝚑𝚎’𝚜 𝚐𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏*𝚌𝚔𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚍𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑 𝚘𝚏 𝚖𝚎. 𝙸’𝚖 𝚜𝚘 𝚊𝚍𝚍𝚒𝚌𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕. 𝙴𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚝𝚘𝚞𝚌𝚑, 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚋𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑, 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚝𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎. 𝙸 𝚗𝚎𝚎𝚍 𝚒𝚝 𝚊𝚕𝚕.

I loved everything about this book. Fast paced, full of angst and a good dose of spice sprinkled in.. plus that epic cliffhanger has me anxiously awaiting book two. Sheridan Anne did it again!

The first 5 pages of this series had be busting a gut. And also the play-by-play mid book had me howling. I was surprised at how hilarious this book was.

Brielle has her life uprooted when her mom decided to move in with a rich dude. Unluckily, she had run into a dude at a party, who ends up being her alphahole new neighbour. Lots of angst ensues, many plots come to light, and holy heck I can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen in this series.

The interactions with the supporting cast are great, friendships are made, relationships are uncovered, there’s something up with the new man in her moms life. I wanted to be in the room for some of these scenes, and I wanted to punch some people.

I can’t believe I waited so long to start this series!

5.0 out of 5 stars what a read!

Yes yes yes! I didn’t know I’ve been craving a story like this until I dove into this and I absolutely loved it!

This is classic Sheridan and I am absolutely giddy at having read this. It took me back to reading her Broken Hill High series and I gotta say I think this one is better, even though I loved that series too.

These are my favourite Sheridan characters. I absolutely love the character dynamic and development. I enjoy the consistency of their banter and personalities and how as the book went we got to see different layers to them. I love how self aware they are also and how they each approach their undeniable chemistry and how they work around it to discover each other but also how it shapes their relationship. Their Witt and banter is amazing. I love Brielle and her sarcasm, no nonsense, boss attitude but I also like how her attitude and personality isn’t overly exaggerated and drawn out. Tanner has shot to my number 1 book boyfriend spot with his alphahole attitude and yet that deeper vulnerable level of protectiveness and his heart being bigger then he lets people see. Both are a great match for each other.

This plot is amazing. I love the mystery and slow reveal of events and hidden gems throughout. I like how it’s unpredictable and that the story can go any which way and it’s exciting seeing it unravel and slowly reveal it self and that we have some twists thrown in also. One thing I don’t like is the time frame in which it is all happening. Essentially the book is set in a span of 2 weeks and I wish it had of been longer just to feel more real. It’s also quiet jarring to realise that it’s only been two weeks because as you read it feels like the book spans at least a month or 2 not 2 weeks. Otherwise everything is amazing.

The word building is great. We get a call back to the Broken Hill characters which is always amazing and I hope to see more as the story goes. This has been one of Sheridans best stories. I feel like she’s really developed as an author and did an amazing job with this one. I feel like it’s a lot more grounded in the story telling sense and you can see the difference in her writing also. I love how she gave us bully romance enemies to lovers with some dark elements but it still stayed true to the story. It was consistent through out and I hope it continues. I’m shook at how the book has ended and I need book 2 asap because I’m going to go insane if I don’t get answers soon.

Amazing read.

5.0 out of 5 stars on point as always.

What do I love about Sheridan Anne’s writing?

Her characters are deep, complicated, yet funny AF.
The New Adult age range of the characters show maturity and backbone, yet behave like annoying children (as they should).

The backdrop to her narrative is believable even at its most unbelievable. Sometimes dark, sometimes just sad, everything has that touch of reality to it. Life according to SA ain’t a bed of roses and I can believe it.

But most importantly, what I love the most, is that she tortures her characters in a sweetly seductive way that makes me think I’m a not so secret sadomasochist. And that I might need some help.

So yeah, Bradford Bastard did not disappoint.

Wow. All I can say is wow. This book hits you from the word go, with jam packed scenes, punchy characters, gut-wrenching suspense and all the steamy, salacious goodness we know to expect from this author.

I absolutely adore Brielle. I cannot tell you just how refreshing it is to see an FMC with a backbone! From the very start, she is quick-witted, gutsy, takes no prisoners and pulls no punches. She is completely unapologetic for her laid back, tell it like it is attitude, and I am here for it. This is a girl I can get behind!

This book is absolutely beautifully written and will without a doubt knock your socks off. Hit me with the next instalment now please!
