I love this detailed Yellowstone National Park I ordered for my upcoming trip later this Summer. The map came quickly and as promised by Amazon. It has good information including trail summaries, elevation and hiking times. There is information on how to cross rivers too and safely. There is also information on common insects you will find in the park and important safety tips with dealing with wildlife you may encounter. There are also general rules and regulations that must be followed in the park and other advice especially relating to the thermal areas and geysers. Stay on the boardwalks about the thermal spots. Keep in mind there is a supervolvano underneath the entire park.
It is important to remember to keep 25 yards from all wildlife and give them their space in Yellowstone and keep your distance. Some visitors seem to forget this and try to pet a 2000 pound animals. Don't be one of those people who don't follow rules meant to protect otherwise you may get injured. These animals are wild and unpredictable. The map offers excellent tips and guidance on all wildlife including bears, bison and wolves. You need to keep 100 yards from bears and wolves and 25 yards from all other animals.
