This is a reseller. I ordered this for my kid after visiting Kennedy Space Center. The package arrived without outside packaging. The box shows signs of wear. And the sealing tape was apparently opened before. I knew LEGO has this sold out and it is not going to be available for at least a year. But this is priced much higher than the original price and the condition is too bad. I ordered a 4dmaster model instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Iconic Tribute to Space Exploration - LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V
Reviewed in India on October 2, 2023
Excellent - Astounding - Amazing - Mind Blowing and Nerve Cracking - The LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V is nothing short of a masterpiece, blending intricate design, analytical skill, and an array of vibrant multicoloured bricks to recreate one of humanity's greatest achievements - the Apollo program. As a LEGO enthusiast and a space exploration buff, this set has exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

One of the most remarkable aspects of this set is the analytical skill required to put it together. With a staggering 1,969 pieces, it's not a project for the faint-hearted. However, the clear and detailed instructions make the build process enjoyable and educational. It's not just about snapping bricks together; it's about understanding the historical significance of each component of the Saturn V rocket. As you progress through the build, you gain a deep appreciation for the engineering marvel that allowed humans to reach the moon. It's a fantastic way to challenge your analytical thinking and attention to detail.

LEGO has always excelled in providing a wide range of colors to bring their sets to life, and this set is no exception. The use of multicolor bricks in the Saturn V replicates the real rocket's appearance with stunning accuracy. The transition from the white first stage to the black second stage and the various shades of gray/black in between is simply awe-inspiring. Moreover, the intricate details on the lunar lander and command module are brought to life by carefully selected colors. LEGO's commitment to multicolor precision in this set is commendable.

The build quality of LEGO Ideas NASA's Apollo Saturn V is top-notch. The pieces fit perfectly, ensuring that the finished model is stable and sturdy. The rocket itself is impressively tall, standing at over three feet, making it a striking display piece that demands attention and admiration. The included stand allows you to proudly showcase your complete creation, adding a touch of elegance to your LEGO collection.

Above all, this set serves as an iconic tribute to NASA's Apollo program and the incredible achievements of space exploration. It's not just a toy; it's a piece of history that can be appreciated by space enthusiasts of all ages. Whether you're a child dreaming of becoming an astronaut or an adult reliving the magic of the moon landing, this LEGO set captures the spirit of exploration and adventure.

In conclusion, the LEGO Ideas NASA Apollo Saturn V is an excellent set that combines analytical skill, multicolor brilliance, and meticulous attention to detail. It's a true testament to human achievement and a must-have for LEGO collectors and space enthusiasts alike. The sense of accomplishment you'll feel when completing this set is unparalleled. Highly recommended for all Science Lovers!

    One last thing
