Product Description

Shogun is a strategy game by Dirk Henn. As warlords in 16th-century Japan, the players attempt to secure a position of dominance for their respective clans. The most successful Daimyo at the end of the game will become Shogun. To succeed, a player will need not only to control as many provinces as possible, but also to develop his realm by building castles, temples and theaters. The player who manages to build the most buildings in each of the five regions earns valuable bonus points. The Shogun Big Box contains the Shogun base game and the expansions "Tenno's Court" (1), "Samurai" (2), "Military Leader" (3) and "Noble Arts in Japan" (4).

    In jeder Aktionsrunde wird nun mittels Ereigniskarten noch ein Ereignis bestimmt und die zuvor geplanten Aktionen in der vorher festgestellten Reihenfolge ausgeführt. Besteuert man eine Provinz oder zieht von dort Reis ein, erhöht das die Chance einer Revolte. Andererseits lassen sich ohne Steuereinnahmen natürlich keine Armeen aufstellen oder Gebäude errichten und auch die übrigen Provinzen wollen mit Reis versorgt werden.

    Kämpfe und Revolten werden mit dem Würfelturm ausgetragen: die Armeen und/oder Bauern (farbige Holzwürfel) werden in den Turm geworfen. Die Würfel, die in der Auffangschale landen, bestimmen das Kampfergebnis. Im Turm verbliebene Würfel können natürlich in folgenden Gefechten wieder auftauchen und sorgen so in jedem Kampf für Spannung.

    1. Shogun-Erweiterung : Tenno’s Court

    Spielmaterial :

    * 1 Kaiserhof
    * 5 Ergänzungstableaus
    * 35 Hofbeamte aus Holz
    * 21 Gunst-Karten
    * 15 Würfelturm-Karten

    Ausgerechnet der entmachtete Tenno könnte nun für den ein oder anderen Herrscher zum Zünglein an der Waage werden.
    Wer mit diplomatischem Geschick vorgeht und sich die Gunst des Tenno zu sichern vermag, den erwarten wertvolle Geschenke und hohe Privilegien. Doch Vorsicht: Wer sich zu sehr um seine Gunst bemüht, verliert leicht die Kontrolle über die eigenen Armeen. Zusätzliche Karten und Aktionen steigern den Anspruch und ermöglichen neue Strategien.
    Die Erweiterung „Tenno’s Court“ macht den Kampf um die Verteilung der Reichsprovinzen noch abwechslungsreicher: Nur wer sich um die Gunst des Tenno bemüht, kann Privilegien in Form von neuen Sonderkarten erhalten – aber auch die militärischen Pflichten sollten nicht vernachlässigt werden!

    Spielmaterial : 5 Sätze von je 4 verschiedenen Boni-Karten

    3. Shogun-Erweiterung : Heerführer ( Military Leaders )

    Spielmaterial :

    * 5 Heerführer aus Holz
    * 30 Denkmäler
    * 5 Übersichten

    Durch die Anwesenheit eines Heerführer in einem Land werden die bestehenden Aktionsmöglichkeiten aufgewertet . Denkmäler zählen am Spielende einen Siegpunkt .

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    4. Shogun-Erweiterung : Künste in Japan ( Chambers)
    Spielmaterial :
    * 1 Tableau
    * 5 mal 15 Spielmarker
    * 5 Regionen-Karten
    * 36 Künstlerplättchen
