Oh my hotness. This was FIYAH!
This series keeps getting better and better and I don't want it to end. I've been waiting for these two and I'm so thrilled to finally have this story. It's such a fantastic reflection of the genre. I love both characters, but was particularly impressed with Frankie. She has grown so much and to see her come into her own and fight for what she wants was amazing. Her strength and grace jump off the page.
But, I'm also boy crazy so Olly being all that he was is what made me absolutely love this book. In a word, he's pure HOTNESS!
I highly recommend this entire series. It's been an absolute blast getting to know all of these characters and I cannot wait for book 2!

I was anticipating Olly and Frankie's story and they were a silent force that left me breathless and heartbroken!!!
To be totally honest, these two weren't seem the most intense couple of the group, but oh boy, didn't they surprise me???
There was underlying so much intensity between them that was making me hot and bothered!!!
This was another one great addition to the series and I can not wait the second part of their story!!!

Frankie was assaulted a couple of years ago and from that moment her big brother, Beck, along his two best friends Carson and Olly were her overbearing protectors!!!!
But Frankie's heart was beating frantically for one of them... Olly had stolen her heart and she can not live with this sweet ache inside of her any longer, especially when this is the last summer that they will spend together...

Olly is in love with Frankie for years, but she is his best friend's little sister... He won't bare it if he will lose his only family!!! He just needs to keep being her respectful protector, even though he wants to get lost in her... But the time for him to go away is coming and he just wants to live a few more moments in her presence...

Olly and Frankie's relationship turned into something more this summer.... They decided that some stolen moments were better than to give their hearts fully to each other, but what will happen after the end of the summer when only pretty lies will be left behind???

These two were amazing together!!! They were fitting perfectly!!!
Frankie had her heart on her sleeve and I loved that she became bold and went for what her heart wanted for a long time... But my heart was aching for her at the end...
Olly was the best guy from the three boys... He was nice, thoughtful and he was respecting Frankie's boundaries. He tried to resist her in the sake of his friendship with Beck, but it was impossible to stay away from her... I loved how possessive was of Frankie and how alpha was behaving when he was with her...
But near the end, he had to make a choice and it was the hardest decision of his life...
"You don't get to pretend like you want me when no one else is around. I'm so tired of being in the shadows."
"You are my fucking weakness, Frankie. I'm not strong enough to walk away from you."
And now after that ending, I am sitting on pins and needles to see where the author will lead us with this story...
The only sure thing is that I enjoyed very much this book... It was sweet, romantic, hot and kind of sad... Olly and Frankie had stolen the impressions and I just want more of them!!!

As this is the first book from the duet about Frankie and Olly and thus ends with the cliffhanger, I won’t go into too much detail with this review.
I truly waited for Frankie and Olly’s story from the very beginning of the series, but the wait was worth it.
I enjoyed every page of this book and their sweet, mysterious, and ultimately complicated relationship.
“The Seduction of Pretty Lies” is a high school/college romance with friends-to-lovers and brother’s best friend tropes that will take you back to youth and remind you what it’s like to be in love especially if that love isn’t that simple.
Frankie is a female character who had a not-so-beautiful past that made everyone around her act like she is a fragile doll, especially her brother Beck.
But she wants the force of opportunity to change that, and most of all she hopes that her brother's best friend Olly, with whom she is in love, will see her in the right light.
Olly is a male character whose life isn't easy despite having everything he wants, except the one thing, and that thing is Frankie, with whom he has been in love practically since they met.
But he has to hide his feelings just so as not to ruin the relationship with his best friend Beck.
Frankie and Olly’s friendly relationship turns into a love relationship the summer before Olly goes to college.
I'm immensely looking forward to the second book that is coming next week as the cliffhanger at the end of this book left me with one big question mark over my head.
If you loved previous books from this series and you also love the friends-to-lovers trope, then this is the book for you!!!
Highly recommended!!!

After suffering a heart breaking event couple years before, Frankie is ready for everyone to stop treating her like she's broken. This includes Ollie for whom she's had feelings forever. But he's her brother's best friend and he won't betray her brother who still thinks she's vulnerable. Unable to stay away from each other, they begin to play the game of "lies of omission", but eventually, someone is going to get hurt.
This is actually the first book by Holly Renee that I've read and while it was well written, it was just a bit to angsty for me 🤷🏻♀️. I read quite a bit of NA, but sometimes have difficulty connecting to characters making poor decisions that should be no brainers (to me), but perhaps that's my advanced age showing :). I also felt a little bit like I had plopped into the middle of a story. It wasn't that I couldn't infer what had happened in the previous books, just felt a bit lost at first since it is supposed to be a standalone. Still giving it 4 stars since I'm pretty sure this is a "it's not you, it's me" situation.

I have been waiting for Olly and Frankie to destroy me ever since these two kept making googly eyes at each other in book one, and they did NOT disappoint. There's just something about the desperate longing that makes your girl here turn into a ho, and this book had that in spades.
So full disclosure, while I did enjoy the other duets in this series, this is easily the best. The writing, the tension, the push & pull, the all consuming love these two have for each other that took my breath away, and the way everyone knew (except for Beck, but more on that asshole later) it was all just so damn GOOD. My girl Frankie deserves all that and more after the hell she went through with that piece of shit, small dick raping asshole, and Olly was just so fucking perfect with her. He never once pushed her for anything-- in fact she was the one pushing him, and letting him know she was more than ready & willing for his touch -- and was just always her safe place. Their physical chemistry is just out of this world, and Ollie's dirty mouth did it for me on numerous occasions, but it was their quiet moments I loved the most. How they always had to be touching one another, even in front of Beck. It's like they couldn't help themselves no matter what it cost them and I ate that shit up like nothing else.
The only thing that I had a love/hate relationship with is how unwilling Olly was to defend his relationship with Frankie to Beck. I know that's part of tension here in this book, and I get that they only had the summer before Olly went off to college, but anyone could see how much these two loved one another before anything physically happened between them. And I get that Olly was torn because his brotherhood with Beck & Carson and their girls is his family in more ways than one, but dammit I just wanted him to shout his love for her from the rooftops, regardless of what Beck thought.
Now onto Beck: look, I know his heart was in the right place, but I am SO mad at him right now. I even get where he's coming from to an extent because Lucas (the piece of shit rapist) was one of his best friends before everything went down with Frankie, so he's always had his guard up since that night making sure nobody else would hurt her again.. but he KNOWS Olly on a whole other level, and i could be wrong, but he seems closer to him than he does Carson, so one would think he would be happy that someone like Olly loves his sister, right? I mean I get it, but DAMMIT BECK, have Josie talk some sense into you and let it go.
The ending tore my heart out. Gosh, I feel for them both.. and if it's setting up like I think it will, there's just going to be so much more pain. I'm a total masochist so of course I'm gonna love it, but dammit it Holly stop making me feel all the feels. (That's a lie. Please don't stop.)
I obviously have so many feelings over these two, and I can't wait until we get our closure next month. If you read any duet out of this series, read this one!!

ARE YOU READY FOR THE STORY WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR?! I’ve been desperate for Frankie and Olly’s story since we started the whole Clermont Bay journey- and I knew from the start it would not be easy. And easy it is NOT! Heartachingly angsty, effortlessly emotive, and Holly’s steamiest book to date, Seduction of Pretty Lies is an all-consuming story rife with heartbreaking and healing, love and tension, and so much delicious new adult drama. Olly and Frankie are pure perfection- the swoon, the heartbreak, the longing! My heart has yet to recover.
Holly somehow give us the story I was begging for, yet all while surprising me at every turn. I expected the heartache, the forbidden best friend’s sister angst and secrecy, the emotional longing and ALL of the drama. But I did not expect for the complete and utter alpha hotness that we’d get from our little gummy bear Olly- and boy did I not expect to see the emergence of a fierce and formidable Frankie. I loved getting to see the nuances and layers of both of these characters- realizing their true history, seeing the insecurities they both are grappling with, and seeing how they’ve both evolved over the course of the series, though both are still trying to figure out not just who they are to each other but who they are people, how they overcome they things in their world that have hurt and angered them. And I loved their chemistry- emotional and holy hell the physical. Holly’s hottest book yet! OLLY IS FIRE with his dirty mouthed possessiveness.
The entire gang is here, and each get a moment to shine (or make us angry…ahem, Beck) in shaping Olly and Frankie’s journey. Holly highlights their character growth while also utilizing them in ways powerful to the story, but also unexpected. This journey is sexy and heartfelt, until it hurts. And oh my it hurts so much. Holly hits us with all the FEELS until the very last, leaving us with a heartsmacking cliffy that will leave you anxious, desperate, and devastated. I NEED MORE! My favorite Holly couple to date- and my favorite of the series!

I loved getting to see the nuances and layers of both of these characters- realizing their true history, seeing the insecurities they both are grappling with, and seeing how they’ve both evolved over the course of the series, though both are still trying to figure out not just who they are to each other but who they are people, how they overcome they things in their world that have hurt and angered them. And I loved their chemistry- emotional and holy hell the physical. Holly’s hottest book yet! OLLY IS FIRE with his dirty mouthed possessiveness.
The entire gang is here, and each get a moment to shine (or make us angry…ahem, Beck) in shaping Olly and Frankie’s journey. Holly highlights their character growth while also utilizing them in ways powerful to the story, but also unexpected. This journey is sexy and heartfelt, until it hurts. And oh my it hurts so much. Holly hits us with all the FEELS until the very last, leaving us with a heartsmacking cliffy that will leave you anxious, desperate, and devastated. I NEED MORE! My favorite Holly couple to date- and my favorite of the series!

(4.25/5) After plenty of build up the last 4 books — the relationship between Olly and Frankie did 👏 not 👏 disappoint 👏.
Like the first 4 books, this is told in 1st person, dual POV (FMC - Frankie, MMC - Olly).
What I enjoyed:
👉 Olly and Frankie's character developmen
👉 Dynamic between Olly and Frankie - I LOVE how protective he is of her
👉 Tropes: best friends's sibling, forbidden, childhood crush
👉 I LOVE how sweet this couple is — made me think of my first time falling in love
👉 Olly's character is a breath of fresh air after Carson and Beck
Where things could have been better / what other readers may struggle with:

I have been waiting for Olly and Frankie’s story ever since the first book in the series. These two captured my interest immediately and I was so excited to finally have this book in my Kindle.
This was a truly heart wrenching story. We were already aware of Frankie’s story and my heart broke for her pain, her struggle and her resilience. She was a truly inspiring character. The best part about her character was her strength. I don’t like it when heroines are written as timid and broken. Frankie was far from it.
Olly was a swoon worthy hero. He was sweet, charming and oh so hot! He was torn between his obvious attraction to Frankie and his loyalty to his best friend Beck. His inner turmoil was beautifully written and you can’t help but root for him to find his happiness.

Holly Renee's words were so powerful and poignant and she delivered an emotional new adult romance in The Seduction of Pretty Lies. This love story is complex and heartbreaking and will take over every inch of your heart. It was completely devastating and sinfully dirty.
This is book one of the duet. You don't need to read other books in Clermont Bay world to understand this book.Frankie has been sheltered by her brother and his best friends since she has been assaulted by one of her brother's ex best friend. Ollie has been the most protective. Because he has always loved her. But Frankie is off limits. Their time is running out as Ollie is moving to California for college after this summer. Frankie needs him. At any capacity. Will her brother look at this as a betrayal? What about their hearts? Will Ollie make a choice that will destroy them both?
This story changed colour so fast and my heart was on an emotional rollercoaster. It started deep and intense as Ollie was torn between his duties and promised and his love. He is in a dark place because his neglectful and toxic parents constantly hurt him and he needs this escape to California but he also needs Frankie. This guy is just perfect. Sometimes he is adorable and sweet. And most of the times he is possessive and protective and arrogant alpha. Frankie is a fierce heroine. She has been through hell but this girl is so resilient. She fights back and she wants to live. She has a fire inside and she wants to experience love and life like any normal girl. She needs Ollie but their path is full of thorns. Ollie consider Frankie and his brother as his true family. And he is helpless. The author beautifully put angst in all those chapters were their hearts were torn into so many sides. My heart is breaking for them. It was definitely smoking hot as they tried to live every stolen passionate moment as much as possible. I loved those flirty swoony days with sizzling hot passion. They still have a long road to go. Frankie deserves Ollie's complete devotion and Ollie need to figure our how not to hurt his best friend and Frankie.

Have you ever read a book and when you finish you just sit there and think, WOW, oh my gosh, wow! I mean my jaw is on the floor. My heart is in my stomach. Tears are streaming down my face. This one hurt, but it was so incredibly good. So much happened. Everything absolutely perfect. Everything is confusing. However, I want it all. The good, the bad and the fantastic! Just wow!
Olly what a protector. He has cared deeply for Frankie for always. His big heart wants to take care of Frankie so badly. He is an incredible man despite his awful parents. He has these incredible friends who care deeply for him, that are more of a family to him than his own. The problem is, Frankie is not only one of his best friends she is also the little sister of his best friend. But when they cross the line they keep it a secret because he is going away for college, so nothing serious can stick. But when you mix two friends with the history these two have, holy hotness, sparks are gonna fly and hearts are gonna explode!
Holly Renee you saved the best couple for last. This was a rip your heart out, friends to lovers to tragedy to whatever is going to happen next trope! It’s my new favorite. The history these two have together makes the chemistry fly off the pages! I didn’t want this story to end. It finished and I just sat there thinking, no please, I need more. Hence the tears flowing. And this is just the beginning , the plot twists will make you go crazy and that cliffhanger was too much too handle , I need to know right now what could possible happen next.
I won’t spoiler anything, but you should buckle up, because if you thought that Beck was the intense one you won’t be able to handle what Olly has reserved for us in this one!

Wow! I knew Holly was leaving the best till last. Ollie and Frankie were everything. I love how throughout the previous books Ollie has been the quiet friend and we didn't really know much about him but boy did this book do him justice. I love how his the watcher from afar but he has a mouth on him. He was such a beautifully complex boy and the way he treated and love Frankie was just so beautiful. I loved Frankie. She was so strong and the insecurities and fears she went through are some I definitely resonated with. Her traumas made my heart hurt but the way she opened up to Ollie was beautiful. Both of them healed the other and I loved how Ollie made Frankie love those broken parts of herself. Now with all duets this ended on a cliffy and I'm am dying for the next book to see how the rest of their story unfolds. These two are soulmates and while at times their story hurt and you kind of knew the hurt was coming I have every faith they will find their way again. I can't wait for book 2.

Oh My Heart!!! I have been anxiously awaiting Frankie & Olly's story and it was SO worth the wait!! I devoured this book and won't sleep until I have book two in my hands. My heart soared, broke and almost burst out of my chest for these two. They are perfection together and I loved every minute of their forbidden romance. The girl gang, the protective and possessive boys, and Olly & Frankie's true love is EVERYTHING I love about NA romance. Can we also please talk about Olly's dirty mouth?!?!?! ;)
I fell so hard for this hero and heroine...they both will pull at your heartstrings and have you cheering for them every step of the way. Now excuse me while I go calm my aching and racing heart. Well done H Renee! Well done!

I’ve been dying for Olly and Frankie’s story and this author didn’t disappoint! This book is the first in their duet and oh boy is it heartbreaking beautiful and emotional. The angst the push and pull all the secrets the lies they have to tell to hide their love the betrayal the heartache the sizzling passion these two feel for each other. This was a drama filled but also super emotional and steamy beginning for these two omg I love Olly’s dirty mouth . I swooned so hard over him . Will their love ever be accepted? I don’t know but after that ending I definitely need the next book asap and I can’t wait for it to get here ! Another amazing five star read from this author!

wow I loved this story so much, I knew since I read about Olly and Frankie in the first book of the series that their story would be my favorite and I was absolutely right, they are everything, seyx, intense and emotional, definitely exceeded all my expectations, I love Frankie and Olly's relationship, their friendship, they are so cute, and the chemistry between them is off the charts, I love their relationship, the trust between them, the way the author narrates their push and pull, their fight for dont give in to what they feel, I love it its so intense, I need more of them, cant wait for the next book

When you feel that ache in your chest because you can feel the angst coming from the prologue alone - you know it’s going to be a damn good book.
This is brothers best fried trope at its finest. This is one of my favorite tropes ever to read and it definitely has to be my top 3. There is something about the way Holly Renee writes that I’m just drawn in. I hang on every damn word she writes and I so needed this to get out of my slump. I felt those emotions all throughout the book. I love the storyline she wrote for Olly and Frankie.
Throughout the series, I knew Olly was going to f me up. I have been anxiously awaiting Olly and Frankie’s story. Olly and Frankie - I needed their story since I first read about them in Becks book. And seeing little snippets of their journey throughout the Clermont Bay series, I knew their story was going to wreck me.
Olly - omg Olly. I love him and want to sock him in the nuts all at the same time.
So… I’m re-reading the entire series again, because I’m anxious at their conclusion. And have you read that blurb to the second book??? Ugh I’m dying. Give it to me. PLEASE!!!!

I've been waiting for Frankie and Olly's story
since the very beginning. Ohhmyygaawwd, these
two, I feel like they are sooo deserving of one
another. Their story was a long time coming.
Especially the build-up, we got to see little
snippets in the other books, but we finally
get to see everything unfolding.
Can't help being a little upset at the
people keeping them apart(unaware) though.
The suspense of them almost getting caught
was tense. I can't believe where it ended, although
I'm glad there'll be a conclusion to their story soon.
It was tense and hearbreakingly beautiful, and I'm so
here for it.

Wow! Wow! Incredible! Olly & Frankie Are Everything!
Have you ever read a book and when you finish you just sit there and think, WOW, oh my gosh, wow! I mean my jaw is on the floor. My heart is in my stomach. Tears are streaming down my face. This one hurt, but it was so incredibly good. So much happened. Everything absolutely perfect. Everything is confusing. However, I want it all. The good, the bad and the fantastic! Just wow!
Olly what a protector. He has cared deeply for Frankie for always. His big heart wants to take care of Frankie so badly. He is an incredible man despite his awful parents. He has these incredible friends who care deeply for him, that are more of a family to him than his own. The problem is, Frankie is not only one of his best friends she is also the little sister of his best friend. But when they cross the line they keep it a secret because he is going away for college, so nothing serious can stick. But when you mix two friends with the history these two have, holy hotness, sparks are gonna fly and hearts are gonna explode!
Holly Renee you saved the best couple for last. This was a rip your heart out, friends to lovers to tragedy to whatever is going to happen next trope! It’s my new favorite. The history these two have together makes the chemistry fly off the pages! I didn’t want this story to end. It finished and I just sat there thinking, no please, I need more. Hence the tears flowing. The moment this book was announced it instantly became one of my most anticipated reads! Having read the four previous installments in this series had me even more excited to pick this one up! I started reading it as soon as i could and got right back into The Boys of Clermont Bay world! I loved The Seduction of Pretty Lies so much!
This first book in Olly and Frankie's journey absolutely hooked me! I was so glad that i got to jump into both of their minds and dig deeper with them. I wasn't sure what all was going to happen in this installment which had me even more glued to my kindle.
Oh my heart! How these two had me feeling such a range of emotions throughout! Their chemistry was undeniable and all kinds of blushworthy. I couldn't get enough of them! I really adored Frankie and fell hard for Olly! 😍
I really enjoyed the whole forbidden / brother's best friend aspect of it all as well! I can't wait to see what happens next!
